This week the House passed with a vote of 396-13 Ranking Member @repmaxinewaters & Chairman Hill's resolution to amend the “21st Century Road to Housing Act,” a landmark bipartisan legislative package aimed at addressing the nationwide housing supply shortage and affordability crisis.
We thank all the Members and staff for their hard work on assembling this housing package and call on the Senate to do its part and send this bipartisan bill to the President’s desk.

I’ve been fighting to make sure housing policy works for the people too often left out of the conversation.
The House passed the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act with two of my provisions included in the bill — the Whole Home Repairs Act to help families make critical home repairs and remain safely housed, and language from my HEIRS Act directing a federal study on heirs’ property to help protect family land and generational wealth in the #FightingFifth and across the country.

Happy 61st Birthday to Head Start! 🎉📚
As a former public school teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how programs like Head Start (@natlheadstart) help set our youngest learners up for success while supporting families and strengthening communities.
In the #FightingFifth and across the country, every child deserves access to the care, support, and educational opportunities they need to thrive — and I’ll keep fighting to protect that.
Republicans keep telling working families there’s “no money” to lower costs, protect healthcare, or invest in education — but somehow they found $70 billion for ICE expansion, $1 billion for a new ballroom, and billions more for priorities that don’t help everyday people.
I stood with my Democratic colleagues to call out this reckless Republican budget that does nothing to lower costs for working families. Budgets are about priorities, and these priorities are backwards.
This past weekend on #PoliticsNation, I spoke with Georgia Congresswoman Nikema Williams and Alabama Congresswoman Terri Sewell about the ongoing fight to protect voting rights, push back against gerrymandering and redistricting efforts, and preserve fair representation across the South following recent Supreme Court decisions impacting congressional maps.
We discussed growing concerns around efforts in states including Georgia and Alabama to redraw district lines, the urgency surrounding upcoming elections and court battles, and the national implications these decisions could have on Black political representation and democracy itself.
Congresswoman Sewell reflected on the energy surrounding the #AllRoadsLeadToTheSouth March and Rally in Alabama, where thousands gathered alongside faith leaders, elected officials, organizers, and civil rights advocates to push back against attacks on voting rights and demand fair representation. Congresswoman Williams emphasized that voting rights and fair maps remain foundational issues connected to housing, affordability, reproductive rights, and democracy overall.

The House just passed the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act — a major step toward tackling the housing affordability crisis impacting families in the #FightingFifth and across the country.
Glad to work alongside my colleagues on the Housing and Insurance Subcommittee to help move this legislation forward and deliver solutions that expand housing access, increase supply, and help more families achieve stability and homeownership.

Working families are still waiting for action on grocery bills, gas prices, housing costs, and the everyday expenses stretching budgets thin.
But Republicans seem to move at warp speed when it comes to redrawing districts and playing political games.

If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
