📢 You have rights as an immigrant — no matter your status. Knowing your rights and how to assert them keeps our families safe and empowered.

You have the right to:

✅ Remain silent.
✅ Speak with a lawyer.
✅ Refuse to sign anything.
✅ Refuse a search or entry to any private property without a warrant.

The administration would like us to believe that immigration and CPB have stopped terrorizing our communities, but that is not the case. They are still arresting our neighbors and detaining our loved ones. We need to stay vigilant and look out for each other.

One way we can do that is by making sure our communities know their rights, and that there are resources available in IL to help you understand, enforce, and defend them, should you need to. That's why we're hosting group canvassing days every other Thursday through August.
