Larry June leaked these on feet awhile back & I was so hyped for these to come out, then I found out they were gonna be a pop-up exclusive & I was genuinely super disappointed. This is one of the cleaner shoes to come out this year & I feel like they could go down as folks SOTY had they seen a proper release.

I'll stand on this, but if you haven't tried out a pair of the Adistar Controls, I highly recommend it. It's my favorite & most comfortable model to come out since the boost era & the GR's I own have been a staple for my closet lately. If you do plan to grab a pair of the Adistars, I'd recommend going with your tts.

As for these, unless you knew somebody who went to the drop, the aftermarket is the best place to find a pair, which is unfortunate, bc this may be my favorite pair to drop from adidas so far this year.

I first learned of BlueTile through David’s YT channel where he reviews upcoming SB drops. From the funny "What Is Up Humanoids" to the in depth reviews, his channel has been my go to anytime an upcoming SB is beginning to roll out. It’s really cool to now see him unveiling his own Dunk after years of reviewing other SB’s.

As for this pair, I'm a little biased bc I have wanted these since he accidentally posted them on his channel lol, but this is easily my favorite Nike SB collab over the past 2 years. When you hold these in hand, you can immediately tell that there are so many little easter eggs sprinkled throughout the entire shoe. From the Monarch wings, to the Butterfly design on the toe box perforations, to beautifully designed insoles, paper, & stickers.
This pair is fully loaded with details and I tried to capture each detail in the photos you see above. You can definitely tell that a lot of heart was poured into the design of this shoe.

Following up after their white/green colorway, UpThere & adidas have teamed up again & this time they went with an all black colorway with premium leather on the upper.
.
When these came in, I was very impressed with the quality of the leather on the upper & if comparing it to another shoe, I'd say it's similar to their 991v2 but this pair feels a little softer to touch.
.
As for the branding, they added 'Made For UpThere' on the tongue tag, while also putting their signature green color on the insole with adidas & UpThere co branding.
.
In terms of sizing, I went tts & would recommend going tts for a snug fit, but if you prefer some space, I'd go half up.
.
Comfort wise, these have a chunky insole for added support & made this a pretty comfortable pair compared to other original models I've tried in the past.

This is prolly one of my favorite packs that DOAF & Nike put together, although the air max 1 was great as well. When I originally saw these, I really wanted 'the woods' pair, but after getting them in hand, I kinda like ' the lumberyard' pair a little bit better.

The Woods (green) 95 has a bunch of unique details on the back heel & tongue that looks like little hits of moss. However on the Lumber Yard (brown) pair, they added wood textures throughout the panels & gave the back heel & tongue a tree bark effect. Idk both pairs are pretty solid tbh, but I think after holding them both in hand, I like the Lumber Yard a little more.

If you do grab a pair of these, I'd recommend going with your tts. They have already been released so unfortunately the only place to grab them is the aftermarket.

When I held these two in hand, I felt like they gave folks a chance to grab a cw similar to the OG Monarch & added a little twist, while also giving the white pair a nice upgrade as well. As for the quality, the leather on the upper feels pretty nice to touch, & the nubuck on the midfoot is pretty nice as well.
