Sheer brilliance, pure whimsy and an insane amount of skill on display at this year’s @goldsmithsfair. It’s been such a pleasure to join as an ambassador and bring top-level craft to new audiences.
I’ve enjoyed meeting many of the 136 master craftspeople in jewellery & metal who are gathered at London’s Goldsmith’s Hall to show and sell their wares. They’re only too happy to talk about their inspirations, practices and skills - you’ll come away casually dropping terms like keum-boo, niobium and repoussé in to your next conversations.
The talks programme covers everything from ancient myths to future trends, the cake-filled cafe keeps you suitable fuelled, and the opulent building (only open to the public for these two weeks) is something to behold in itself.
Check out my favourites from the fair here & plan your visit before doors close on Sunday afternoon.

This month I’m working with @goldsmithsfair 2025 as an ambassador - championing some amazing talent in jewellery and metalwork showing in London across two weeks in Sep & Oct.
Happening at the historic Goldsmith’s Hall, there’ll be 136 artists from across the UK to see. The fair has been running for over 40 years and is the leading event to scope out fine jewellery and silverware, meet the designers and buy directly.
I’ll be there @goldsmithsfair sharing my favourite finds and talking to some great makers.
You can get your ticket at goldsmithsfair.co.uk
Week One: 23-28 September
Week Two: 30 September - 5 October

Make London seen in the wild for the first time! 🤎
If you love to make your own stuff you might enjoy my guidebook for @hoxtonminipress which includes 55 places in London you can pick up a new skill - or ask me, I did them all (almost)! Find it at @waterstones @lrbbookshop @pagesofhackney @roughtrade @londonbookarts @looplondonloves & many many independent places that will appreciate your visit! 📷 @r_brindle

Lovely bit of post on this rainy Friday ☔️ - thanks @hoxtonminipress for sending me your latest guide absolutely packed with brilliant writing and tips by @sujataburman & @biscott_i with a little intro by me on why London is the design capital that makes its own rules.

We made a magazine! Last night saw the launch of The New Standard, a new publication I edited for @mapprojecto @universaldesignstudio & @made_thought with the incredible @dharine & her team. Stuff I had fun commissioning for this collaboration-themed issue includes: @nicolatwilley on the potential of human manure 💩 @wiles_books on space junk 🚀 & @linyeezy on the radical act that is planting seeds 🪴It will be out in the world very soon!
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
