Nguyễn Hoàng Bridge

Hue City, Vietnam

Named after Nguyễn Hoàng, the first Nguyễn lords who established the powerful state that contested rule over Vietnam in two centuries. He was later known as the ancestor of Nguyễn Ánh, who became king Gia Long, the founding emperor of the Nguyễn dynasty, the longest dynasty of the modern united Vietnam that ruled until 1945.

I don’t usually taking landscape photos but since my dad contracted and engineered this, I have to make a record of it. Each time I travelled across Vietnam, I always recognized the bridges, roads and intersections that my dad engineered or contracted and it always beamed me with so much pride.

Thanks @lti_lightside for taking such good care of my film in the last 3 years. One of a few labs still exist on the original photo district at Park & Lexington. Justin & Bernard are the best !

New York City

2021 - 2026

So after nearly 5 long, hard, amazing and exhilarating years in the city of my dream, I decided it was time for a clean slate and a new chapter of my life. It was not an easy decision to land upon but it was necessary for my growth and development as an artist and a person.

This time next week I’ll already be on a plane for my 20+ hrs venture back to my motherland 🇻🇳 which I haven’t been back for nearly a year and a half at this point. Frankly I don’t know where it will take me but hopefully, to be closer to the truth and understanding of who I am in the world. Although it was bittersweet to come to this conclusion, I’m grateful for all the experiences that I have gained, all the success, failures, trials and tribulations that I have encountered. I’m grateful for all the friends that I made, the wonderful colleagues and peers that I connected, the whirlwind that is the photo business/industry that I have my hands upon and respected mentors, professionals and legends that I learned from. As one formidable legend told me, the experiences and work that I have cultivated and built for myself will not disappear as I changed location. But rather, it will follow me and evolve wherever I go in the world. For that, I’m excited for the future and the leap that I will make.

Of course, I will miss the daily charm and mundane things that have defined my life here. From the long summer days that the sun set at 8:30 PM to breezy citibike rides across the Williamsburg bridge to the wonderful brunch and dinner at my favorite establishments while seeing the light changes through out the day. I will miss the museums, galleries and the wonderful nature that made New York the concrete jungles where dreams are made of. I could go on and on but you’ll understand as you flip through these slides.

Now I look back at all these memories and experiences, I know that the 14 years old shy, chubby and meek me will be proud. I have lived the dream that my younger self has set my eyes upon and I have absolutely no regrets.

I’m excited to see what the future holds with light and clarity!

Now I look back at all these memories and experiences, I know that the 14 years old shy, chubby and meek me will be proud. I have lived the dream that my younger self has set my eyes upon and I have absolutely no regrets.

I’m excited to see what the future holds with light and clarity!

Had a pleasure to speak with @grapevine.hanoi , an art & cultural forum in Vietnam that I really respected . I remembered before I took any photos, this was the platform that I learned about contemporary art and it was pleasure to speak about my practice with such openness, depth and clarity. Once again, thank you chị @stillzel for a compelling conversation and chị @dotuonglinh for connecting us together.

Yes, I did make some photos of along the way during the run of ‘Photographing Distance Memories’ at Nguyen Wahed Gallery and here are some of them on my red table and plastic stools.

A set piece that followed me in a lot of pictures that I made in this body of work.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
