I always hoped it would turn out differently….it almost broke me because I couldn’t help fix him…so I had to have faith that time would restore our kind hearted dad to honor the beautiful soul he was. As my dad took his last breath at the end, he was surrounded by those he loved. And he was finally at peace. But I am gutted beyond words. Despite his battle, he will always be remembered as the kind hearted man who took me in at 5 years old and adopted me as his own daughter, raised me, cultivated my love for rock and roll, surprises…so many things…
