In honor of International Women’s Day, particularly for the daring and delightful women of RT, we thought it fitting to share the namesake of our main conference room: Zazel. Born in 1860, 17-year-old Rossa Matilda Richter became the first known human cannonball. Stage-named Zazel, she made the unorthodox progression from ballet, gymnastics and trapeze to tightrope walking. Then, in 1877, she was fired out of a cannon in front of a large crowd at the Royal Aquarium in London. Witnessing the performance, a writer for the Mackay Mercury wrote that the event “hurled her from the jaws of death into the arms of fame.”

So incredibly proud of our @davidmatzker who won Agency Leader of the Year last night at the Dallas AAF Awards. Over his 15 years with RT, David has been known for his integrity, his optimism, and his love of the business, as well as being a great mentor and example for others. His impeccable track record in client service makes this award in the “Suits” category a no-brainer for us. Even though we know he’s more of a shoe guy. Join us in congratulating David!
