For context:
I went into this fight as the taller fighter with better kicks, but worse boxing.
The game plan was to 1. Use the front kick (teep), & the jab to establish a distance at which we would fight just outside of boxing range & circle out when Matt attempted to close that distance. Then 2. land my kicks from range and only throw hands as a means to counter Matt's shots.
I felt I had worse cardio than my opponent, as such I was happy to try catch my breath whenever we were out of range and wait for Matt to try close the distance again.
- I was still exhausted come midway through the 2nd round.
Largely happy with how this fight went!
