Tech week for @balletdesmoines Nutcracker starts today!!
I haven’t danced in a nutcracker since 2017 with @northwestclassicalballet under the artistic leadership of @maricar.l.drilon. Though it’s been years since I’ve danced this classically, I’ve improved so much in just 2 months I feel more like a ballerina than I did when I thought I was at my most “trina” self between 16-18. I’m excited to see how much more I’ll improve in the new year.
ALSO I’m glad to be a part of a production that’s taking its first step away from cultural appropriation that this classic ballet is known for (instead of the land of sweets it’s a whimsical forest with all kinds of forestry creatures). It’s been quite the return to the ballet world.
📸 headshots captured by the immaculate @jamimilne I still adore the candid ones!!

Getting FANCY tonight! It’s the second time this year I get to dress-up. First was for this promo photo shoot for @balletdesmoines’ 🪐G A L A X Y gala🪐 and now tonight for the gala. I’m so excited, my dress is gorgeous (and from the genius of @dornink costumer at BDM), and I’m looking forward to see all the other glamorous outfits this evening. Check back later to see tonight’s dress!

International Dance Day post 2/2 (vertical edition)
Most of you know I love and do ballet and contemporary dance. What most of you don’t know is I’ve discovered another dance medium I enjoy: social partnered dancing.
Incoming heartfelt post…
My first taste was Lindy Hop/East Coast Swing back in 2019 then in 2023 I was introduced to @pdxbluesdance’s Barefoot Fusion which I’ve been going to on and off consistently for 3+ years now. It’s something I look forward to every week and continue to grow and learn through. I’ve become better at listening to body language and subtle cues with every partner I dance with, was able to personally distinguish what sensual and sexual means to me (before Fusion they meant the same thing to me), can push myself to be assertive by asking people to dance, how to adjust in the ebb and flow of each dance, and overall just so much growth in self-expression. I’ve also found some meaningful friendships through this community. Dance brings me such joy and wonderful challenges both of which are very centering for me; it’s how I connect with myself, and I am glad I can add Fusion to this list of things I love to do.
These Photos and Video were taken by @thatsmejustbri back in 2023 when I was relatively new to the Fusion scene.

Revisited this Sakura tree three years later has me reflecting on this silly concept called T•I•M•E
• Same spot, different moment in time.
• In front of the camera, behind the camera.
• Drizzly and freezing, muddy and chilly.
• First year in college, year three at university.
• At a new job, at that same job now.
• Being the choreographed dancer, being the choreographer and dancer.
• Me-before in the past, me-now in the present which is now me-after in the past.
• Unsure and distrusting of the unknown, still unsure but more trusting of the unknown.

Earlier this year, I got to perform and tour with @pathwaysdancecompany and @pingandwoofopera. Words cannot describe what this solo meant to me so hopefully this rehearsal recording is able to convey what I cannot say.

For today’s International Dance Day, I’m finally sharing some photos from last summer’s “Break to Build” with @prolabdance, paired with (early) news that we’re doing it again this summer!!! Rehearsals have already begun; it’s been wonderful returning to the barge building and getting down and dirty in the exploration process again. So stoked to see how it evolves this time around and can’t wait to show it to everyone!!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
