I’m no longer going to tell you to be consistent.

It’s lazy advice. And it won’t help.

Scroll down the homepage, and you’ll see the same commandments everywhere.

“Wake up at 5am.” “Show up every single day.” “Lock in.” “Trust the process.”

But consistency without purpose is just average.

What you actually need is one idea worth defending. One position you’ll hold when it costs you 500 followers tomorrow.

I posted hundreds of videos before a single one went viral. I didn’t get there by waking up at 5am every day. I got there by having a purpose that I would refuse to waver on.

Honestly, every “lock in” post is selling you the thing that almost ruined my life. I had the Porsche, the personal trainer, the matching luggage, the lot.

None of it meant anything until I started caring about purpose instead of just having a routine.

I see it everywhere. Creators are desperately posting every single day. Wondering why no progress is being made.

Nothing’s wrong with them… it’s just that the advice they were given was bad.

Consistency works. But being consistently the same doesn’t.

Routines don’t work. Purpose + constant improvement does.

If you’re posting every day and getting four likes, stop. Spend the next 30 days figuring out the one thing you genuinely think the people in your industry are wrong about. Then post that.

Every high street in Britain is dying.

In the last year alone: Independent chains. Bank branches. Poundland. Bars. Have all been folding by the hundred.

Everyone blames Amazon. But honestly, there’s 2 bigger reasons…

The first is us.

Every Saturday we order from our phones. We sit in the same room to eat and scroll. And replace social meets with group chats.

We’re selling the high street to Amazon. But landlords are doing the rest.

They lock independent shops into 10-year leases, which are almost impossible to get out of.

And the empty unused units, you see… they demand £20k refits for.

That, along with the council charging £5 an hour for parking and MP’s brutal business rates, makes it impossible for almost any business to survive.

Let alone independent chains.

A high-street shop is a death trap for start-ups. Even I wouldn’t touch it and I’ve been running businesses for decades.

But the good news is, I don’t think it will stay that way.

We CAN revive Britain’s high streets.

96% of British adults still want to shop on a high street.

They want the butchers, the pubs, the Saturday market where their kids know the people behind the stalls.

And if the demand is still there, it will still live.

If you live somewhere with a high street still standing, try walk down it and support more.

And write to two people. Your council, for rate relief and cheaper parking.

And your MP to fix the brutal business rates.

The owner may not be there next year if you don’t.

She just wants to help people… 🥹

I built everything in my life so I could do one thing.

Spend time with my son whenever I want.

I would trade all my money before I give that up.

I don’t want yachts or watches. They mean nothing. Spending time with loved ones is far more precious.

This morning, he wanted me to play with him in the garden.

If I had a job, I may not have been able to.

But because I own my own life, I could just go outside and do it.

And let me tell you… that’s what freedom actually is.

When I’m old, I won’t look back on all the money I made.

But I’ll look back on the memories with him.

I’ll never get today’s version of my son back. So I’m not trading a single day of it for a meeting that could’ve waited.
