Berkeley/Oakland-based artist Doran Dada’s artwork is a celebration of the achievements of African history. Celebrating the fantastic spiritual creation stories from the dawn of time. Bringing them back to life in technicolor with the hopes to inspire not only Africans from all over the diaspora who have forgotten their history, but to all the people of the world who love Egyptian history.

somer taylor is a visual artist from Virginia, living in Oakland. somer participated in Susan Cervantes’ Community Education Mural Workshop then began working with Precita Eyes Muralists. The altar consists of a painting of Doran “Dada” McGee, paper flowers, shells from VA and FL, crystals from their personal altar, and handmade ceramic pieces on their altar.
