Hey, happy Monday!
Over the weekend we hung out @tfbrewing for the Mayfest lager festival and sold our goods alongside lots of other local creatives. We appreciate everyone who came out to support. It was also really nice to see many of you show Jose @o_mar4415 lots of love. He’s looking great and has been healing really nicely.

hi, i’m marcelino — owner & founder of soymurga 🤍

we’ve grown to over 4k here and that feels really big to me, so i wanted to reintroduce myself and share a little more of the human behind it all.

i make yummy smelling things like candles, soaps, and other special little things you can feel good about bringing into your space. what started as a hobby has slowly turned into something real… something i’ve nurtured for over 5 years now.

soymurga has always been more than just a product to me. i want it to feel like a moment — something that inspires, elevates, and gently shifts your mood. my goal has always been to create an affordable kind of luxury that still feels intentional and special.

i think the moment it all clicked for me was when i started sharing my creations with people in my life and hearing how much they loved them. it made me realize that if i kept showing up and trying, i could build something meaningful.

my days don’t always look the same, but they usually start with coffee, dog cuddles, and checking in on my chickens. from there it’s a mix of answering dms and emails, pouring candles, making soap, packing orders, or doing shop drop-offs around northern utah. and when things are slower, i’m probably out on a coffee date or spending time with my partner — always trying to find that balance (some days better than others).

i’m deeply obsessed with the act of pouring — candle wax, soap batter, even filling sprays… there’s something about it that feels so soothing to me.

and a little honesty moment… things definitely take longer than people think, especially soap bars. (and getting back to emails… i’m working on it 😬)
