Salt River Project
Delivering water and powerⓇ
Keeping trees and vegetation safely trimmed away from power lines isn’t just about appearances, it’s essential for safety and reliability. When plants grow too close, they can cause outages, create hazards and even increase fire risk.

Unexpected outages can happen. Recently, a fallen palm tree took down an entire utility pole!

SRP entered into an agreement with NextEra Energy Resources to develop 3,000 megawatts of new solar generation by 2034.
These projects will deliver low-cost energy to SRP customers and create long-term community benefits across Arizona.
The Light Up Navajo VII initiative is underway! SRP is proud to continue supporting this mutual aid initiative led by the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority and the American Public Power Association.

In celebration of Earth Day, we wanted to share some of our sustainability wins that have brought us closer to our 2035 Sustainability Goals. We’re working toward a sustainable future for Arizona by reducing our carbon footprint, decreasing waste and engaging the communities we serve.

This morning SRP crews departed to bring electricity to remote homes in the western Navajo Nation region as part of the Light Up Navajo initiative.

We’re honoring our crews for Lineworker Appreciation Day. From restoring power during storms to maintaining the grid that keeps our homes, schools and businesses running smoothly, our lineworkers show unwavering dedication, skill and courage every single day.

SRP's first-ever self-built and self-operated photovoltaic solar facility is now online! The site, located in Florence, Ariz., will also test three types of solar trackers and three different inverters — devices that convert the direct current electricity generated by solar panels into alternating current electricity, which is the standard energy used by customers — to find which combinations and independent technologies are most effective for long-term planning.
Our water supply travels more than 150 miles to reach your faucet.
It begins as rain and snow in the forest. High in the mountains, in the forests of northern and eastern Arizona, lie the Salt and Verde watersheds. In the winter, snow collects across 8.3 million acres of this protected forestland.
In the spring, the snow melts and the journey of your water begins. These watersheds are the source of the water we use every day.
Dams help capture water in reservoirs. Melted snow travels down the mountains and into the Salt and Verde rivers, where it flows and is stored through a series of seven lakes, also known as SRP’s reservoir system.
Water collected in our reservoirs is then released through dams. The dams allow us to control the flow of water so we can manage floods and store it for times we need it like during periods of drought. Dams are also used to generate hydroelectric power.
Water then moves into our cities through a system of canals. SRP delivers water throughout our Valley to cities, farms and irrigation customers using a canal system of 131 miles.
The canals lead to water treatment plants and smaller waterways called laterals. The laterals are used to carry water to irrigation customers, including farmers.
Water is then treated to meet quality standards. The water we deliver to city treatment plants is treated there to meet water quality standards. Once treated, the water is delivered through underground pipes to your home.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
