Stephen Nguyen is a sophomore Radio-Television-Film major at The University of Texas at Austin. Though he hadn’t pursued filmmaking until college, Stephen has always wanted to be a storyteller through any medium imaginable. This past semester, Stephen directed two short films with LGBTQ+ characters in lead roles, an independent drama titled ‘Dude.’ and a sci-fi action thriller titled ‘replace me’ made in his Narrative Production class.
