I am so excited Madison's Tummy Tuck results! She sent this photo in for her 1 month video follow-up appointment. 😊

Madison has 5 children and after multiple pregnancies, she decided she was ready to do something to feel comfortable in her own skin. Madison is a model, actress, and influencer so she has always been in great shape, but she felt limited when wearing clothing because she would have to wear things like mom jeans and one-piece swimsuits to hide the excess skin of her abdomen. ❤️

After consulting with Madison, we created a plan for her Tummy Tuck surgery to remove the excess skin from her abdomen, tighten her abdominal wall, and create my “signature, natural-looking innie belly button.” She stayed at the aftercare facility with 24-hour nurse assistance for the first night. The next day, aftercare brought Madison back to my office for her 1 day post-op appointment.

I used several technical details in this surgery to create a natural-looking contoured abdomen and a thin, nearly invisible low scar.

Since Madison traveled from Utah to Beverly Hills for surgery, she stayed in town for 2 weeks after surgery, until all of her drains were removed. Madison had a quick recovery with minimal discomfort! She already looks incredible! You can see her abs, and her belly button is a beautiful oval shape with a little dimple.

Although it is incredible to see the physical transformation after plastic surgery, one of my favorite things about being a plastic surgeon is seeing the confidence radiate from my patients after surgery, once they feel and look their best. Reading this review from my patient’s mother brought tears to my eyes and truly touched my heart. Having a botched plastic surgery is traumatic and affects not only patients but also their families. Revision surgery is always a great challenge because there is often scar tissue and permanent injury to the body. There is also a deep emotional and mental toll on patients that I hope to heal through their revision surgery.

This particular patient had 2 previous tummy tuck surgeries by another surgeon.The first surgery he did an umbilical float where he cut off the belly button and also no drains were placed so she developed a large fluid collection which needed emergency surgery to remove. The second surgery the doctor did a partial muscle repair which fell apart then tried to fix the belly button but made it even larger and also off center. She also had an irregular scar with dog ears on the sides. He also did uneven liposuction and J plasma which created irregularities and burned all the tissues on the inside.

This was one of the hardest revisions I have ever done because of the injury to the tissues from her previous surgeon. I repaired the muscle plication, smoothed out the unevenness in her abdominal wall, centered her belly button and made it a natural looking “innie” and lowered her scar removing the irregularities and dog ears and re-designed the flap so there was no bunching. Fixing this in the setting of extreme scar tissue and having the belly button previously cut off was honestly a miracle. The second picture is 2 weeks after surgery - she has healed beyond amazing and I am so so grateful I was able to help her. - ♥️ Dr. Cat

Labiaplasty is not just removing excess tissue, it is an art.Often patients have asymmetry, folds and various fusion of tissues that I trim, design and then piece together in a way that looks seamless, natural and creates a beautiful symmetrical heart shape.

This is a video of one of the most complex labiaplasty surgeries I have performed - as you can see from the pieces, this patient had very long labia that was bunched and folded along the length of the labia minora. She also had several excess pieces of lateral clitoral hood that were fused to the labia very differently and the labia minora had deep and irregular folds. She had constant daily discomfort from the excess tissue as well as recurrent infections. She now has a perfect, symmetrical tucked in heart shape and she had no pain after surgery. I am so excited and happy for her. 🦋
