For me dealing with Endometriosis means with in minutes I can go from feeling fine to being in such intense pain that it brings me to tears.
This is a regular part of my life with endo.
emEndometriosis is in the top 20 most painful disease in the world.
please don’t diminish anyone’s pain if they tell you they don’t feel well. Because if your friend tells you she doesn’t feel good or she’s hurting, times whatever you think she’s feeling by at least three.
Compassion goes along way. please support your friends and family and acquaintances that you know suffer from this disease.
March is endometriosis awareness month.
This is a tough disease that I, and 1 in 10 women suffer with.
we don’t all experience the disease, the same way; but it is important to support every woman who is affected by this disease equally, because ENDO IS HARD!
Having endometriosis has affected every aspect of my life.
It affects my personal relationships with my friends, with partners or potential partners, and with my family.
It affects my ability to work.
It affects my ability to do things that I love, like going to the park with my dogs, doing projects around the house, gardening in my yard, or hanging out with my friends.
I have had 13 different surgeries to try and help with my pain. Some have given relief. Some have not.
Currently there is no cure for this disease.
We need to support each other, you need to support your friends, your family members, acquaintances that you know that have his disease, because it is crippling in so many ways.
Every day is a struggle. Every fucking day!
You may see me with my hair done, my make up done, a cute outfit, but underneath …. I’m suffering with pain in my back, in my hips, my abdomen, sometimes my legs. I get Migraines, nausea, fatigue - all underneaththe painted package.
Endometriosis needs more funding for more research so we can start to help ease the pain and suffering of the women who deal with this.
