Keith David To Be Honored With A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame On June 4
Next week, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will honor the three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Keith David with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrating an extraordinary career spanning more than 45 years across film, television, and stage.
A 1979 Juilliard graduate, the acclaimed actor’s early career includes touring performances in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Waiting for Godot in the 1980s, and his 1992 Tony Award-nominated role in Jelly’s Last Jam. He later appeared in Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and landed roles in classics like Platoon (1986), They Live (1988), Dead Presidents (1995), and Clockers (1995). David continued to anchor major projects through the decades—including Pitch Black, Barbershop, ATL, Greenleaf, and Nope—alongside his acclaimed voice over work in animated series, films, and iconic video games.
Keith David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony will take place on June 4 at 11:30 AM PT.
