Daniel Champagne @danielchampagnemusic
Sunday May 31st
West End Cultural Centre, 586 Ellice Ave
MATINEE ADDED (evening show sold out)
Doors 1:00pm Music 2:00pm

Daniel Champagne’s evening show sold out so quickly we had to add a matinee! And that one is inching towards capacity by the day. There’s still room, but there won’t be for long.

The Australian virtuoso recently described as ‘the finest guitar player of this generation,’ has been selling out concerts around the globe — and in the spring of 2026, he’ll bring his now-famed live show to intimate venues across Western Canada!

“Do whatever it takes to get in the front row!” – Rhythms Magazine, Australia

“A generational talent that must be seen to be believed.” – Roots Magazine, UK

Don’t miss your chance to see live music at its finest!

Daniel Champagne lives and breathes music. Playing upwards of 250 concerts around the world each year, he is as loved globally as he is in his homeland of Australia. His signature guitar style and formidable stage show have garnered accolades and dedicated fans worldwide.

Growing up in the Bega Valley on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, the story goes that the young artist first picked up his instrument of choice at age five, following in the footsteps of his musical father. He began writing songs at twelve, trained classically throughout his teens, and performed wherever he could — honing his craft and developing the electric live show that he is renowned for today. At eighteen, he finished school, turned professional, and hit the road without looking back.

The following eighteen years have seen him release seven studio albums, sell out concerts across the globe, play some of the biggest festivals under the sun, and share stages with the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, INXS, John Butler, Lucinda Williams, Ani DiFranco, Judy Collins, and Rodrigo y Gabriela.

Expect jaw-dropping guitar skills, songs that carry the heart away, and the stories of a troubadour that will stay with you long after the last note rings out — a Daniel Champagne show is not just a concert, it’s an experience.

🌼We are so excited to have Osmanthus at the festival this year. Catch this dynamic duo at Cluster on May 30. Ticket link in bioooooo🌼

Starting as a one-off pairing for a small gallery show in early 2019, Calgary-based duo Osmanthus combines violinist Laura Reid’s classical prowess and ear for melody with Krzysztof Sujata’s electronic experience and penchant for paced improvisation and minimalism. Together they straddle the line between acoustic and electronic music and accentuate how truly insignificant the distinction between the two worlds is. ✨

Annual Public Meeting
Wednesday May 14th at The WECC
6:00pm-7:30pm
Charts!
Live music by Amby!

Please join us for The WECC Annual Public Meeting where we will talk about the year we’ve had, check out some charts, and enjoy the live music stylings of singer-songwriter Amby!

Amby @ambyambyambyamby
Amby plays music for lovers and losers who are open to laughing and crying while listening.Existing somewhere in the venn diagram of Joni Mitchell, Martha Wainwright, and Lizzy McAlpine. Amby tows the lines between folk, alternative rock, and country music with a voice originally trained for musical theatre and choir. The humour in their lyrics brings some lightness and relatability - if they can laugh at themselves, so can you. A little laughter goes a long way in transferring stories of darkness, love, and spiritual hunger into a vessel of sound that is refreshing and intimate. Drink up.

Mise en Scene has new music out and it is SO GOOD!

The Bonaduces w/ Greg Rekus and the Inside Job and super secret just announced guests Mise en Scene!
Friday May 8th
West End Cultural Centre, 586 Ellice Ave
Doors 7pm Music 8pm

Punk. For fans of Fear, Fucked Up, Blink 182, The hives, Sum 41, Mischief Brew, Chuck Regan, Mountain Goats, Frank Turner

The Bonaduces @thebonaduces
The Bonaduces are a Winnipeg punk band that have been in existence since 1994 at various levels of function. They toured and recorded extensively in the 90s and have released exactly one song in the 26 years since, but are currently at work on their long long long long long awaited third (or fourth, depending on how you feel about cassettes) full-length album.

Greg Rekus @gregrekus
Rekus’s passion for music is bursting at the seams. It is the driving force that keeps him constantly on the road and cranking out album after album of folk punk goodness. During live performances, audiences are treated to an entertainer who treats the stage as his home. With high energy and infectious enthusiasm, Rekus has a natural ability to engage with a diverse assortment of crowds from around the world.

Mise en Scene @miseensceneband
Mise en Scene is the grunge pop/garage rock band from the small Canadian prairie town of Gimli, Manitoba. Founded by BFF art school dropouts Stef and Jodi, the band is known for their whirlwind of rock-rooted, reverb-drenched dream pop that perfectly meshes modern vibes with vintage charm. Mise en Scene has turned heads on the stages of major international festivals like SXSW, Reeperbahn, The Great Escape, and Spain’s Primavera Sound. Daydreaming decadence and jam-packed dancefloors, they bring a raucous symphony of rolling thunder drums and Rickenbacker riffage with a bark that matches its bite.

Sadaa-Echoes
Unbounded Stories
"Stories From Palestine"

A few weeks ago, Sadaa-Echoes hosted an Unbounded Stories: Stories from Palestine evening at the WECC, a gathering where stories travelled on the sound of the Oud, meeting images of Palestine alongside 'Tatreez' embroidery, Arabic language teaching, and food shared with love. My mother prepared homemade Palestinian harissa and welcomed guests into the space with the gentleness of an olive tree receiving the rain.

As someone who carries and tells stories, I was nervous about weaving so many forms together into one evening. I wondered: could I honour every photograph? Could I truly listen to each melody as the Oud played? Could I feel my land meet the sky through the stitched threads of Tatreez?

But slowly, I moved forward, not alone, but alongside the beautiful community that came to sit with us, listen with us, and become part of the story itself. What once felt unfamiliar became healing. And as I spoke, it felt as though the olive trees of my homeland were walking beside me, carrying memory, shelter, and voice into the room.

Shokran for sharing your stories with us.

What is your story?

We'll also have some colouring sheets out for kids.

Please bring a book light or some kind of light with a battery if you can. The lights at The WECC are a bit dim for detailed work.

This event is all ages, families welcome.

We’ve kept the tickets for this event low, at $5. Grab yours now to guarantee your spot!
FYI for curious players, this event is a closed session, which means no musician drop ins. If you’re keen to jam, consider the Irish Club, which runs some open sessions!

Thank you so much to everyone who attended Crafts and Ceilidh 1! What a hoot! Thanks for allowing our photographer to snap these great shots. And thank you to photographer David MacDougall for capturing the magic!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
