Ted Turner, the media mogul and philanthropist who co-founded CNN, has died. He was 87.
“Ted was an intensely involved and committed leader, intrepid, fearless and always willing to back a hunch and trust his own judgement,” CNN Worldwide chairman/CEO Mark Thompson said in a statement. “He was and always will be the presiding spirit of CNN. Ted is the giant on whose shoulders we stand, and we will all take a moment today to recognize him and his impact on our lives and the world.”

Meta and #MarkZuckerberg are defendants in a lawsuit from five major book publishers and author Scott Turow, who claim the tech giant infringed on copyrights by training AI systems on ripped and pirated works.
Turow and five publishers – Hachette, Macmillan, McGraw Hill, Elsevier and Cengage – all alleged that Zuckerberg instructed Meta’s AI programs be trained by copying millions of books, articles, and other written work through pirating sites and web scrapes.

The end of #TheBoys is getting the big-screen treatment, with its fifth and final season finale set for 4DX theatrical showings in addition to streaming on Prime Video.
“In two weeks, we’re going out with a bang,” the show posted on their X account. “Literally, because ya might vibrate watchin’ the series finale in 4DX."
