Think PR
Creative award winning PR, SoMe & Communications Agency in Copenhagen, Denmark. And really just a great brunch of people overall!

Most Nordic campaigns don’t fail. They just don’t land.
In Issue 006 of The Nordic Signal, we break down how to actually make PR work here, from language and local angles to what almost always goes wrong in regional rollouts.
Also in this issue:
• Nordic leaders aligning on global messaging
• Swedish Gen Z moving to TikTok, podcasts and AI
• Why even sports decisions turn into value debates
If you work across markets, this one is worth your time. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7452618184513368064

DTU Sustainable Energy Council SEC are organizing a youth-led event at the UN.
It’s not a typical conference...the idea is that young people are actually part of the conversation, not just sitting and listening. You’ll be able to ask questions, share your perspective, and engage directly with speakers and other participants.
We’ll have some really strong speakers like Jorge Moreira da Silva (Executive Director of UNOPS) and Katherine Richardson (Professor at KU & part of the planetary boundaries work), and Simon Floe Nielsen (Deputy Director at the Danish Energy Agency) plus others from industry, policy, and international organizations.
If you’re interested in energy, climate or just want to be in the room where these discussions are happening, you should definitely join.

THIS IS THE WORST TIME TO GO QUIET. HERE’S WHAT WE ARE DOING ABOUT IT.
After 20 years in this business, we know this: the companies that communicate well during uncertain times are the ones that come out ahead.
Not the ones that go quiet.
We’ve just built a new offer specifically for this moment. For AI, tech, and energy companies in the Nordics who have a real story to tell but can’t justify a full agency retainer right now, we’ve created a fixed-price offer.
Fixed price. Fixed timeline. Real results.
→ A communications foundation built in 4-6 weeks
→ Media narrative, messaging, press materials, journalist relationships
→ Senior thinking without the overhead
If you’re building something in the Nordic market and need the world to know about it - or if you know someone who is - we’d love 20 minutes.
Drop us a line at info@thinkpr.dk or tag someone who needs this.

Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge gender equality. Get ready for #IWD2026.

GLOBAL PR PLAYBOOKS OFTEN BREAK IN THE NORDICS
Every now and then we see the same pattern. An international company enters the Nordics with a global PR network in place, a solid budget, and a carefully prepared playbook. On paper everything looks right. And yet the results often feel… underwhelming.
In the Nordics, journalists remember who brings substance and who sends noise.
Relationships outweigh agency logos and a story that works in Stockholm might fall flat in Copenhagen.
In Issue 003 of The Nordic Signal, we explore why local PR partners consistently outperform global PR networks in Scandinavia and what international companies often misunderstand about Nordic media dynamics.
This edition also looks at three developments shaping communication right now:
• Denmark’s snap election and the sudden acceleration of public debate
• A $4 billion Nordic data center deal putting the region at the center of the AI infrastructure race
• Why Nordic media still enjoys extraordinary public trust while newsrooms face growing economic pressure
If you work with communications, reputation or market entry in the Nordics, these signals matter.

IF LEADERSHIP WERE AN OLYMPIC SPORT, WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE?
With the world turning its attention to Italy for the 25th Winter Olympics, our CEO Karin Nørgaard was invited by Debbie Laskey, MBA to be part of her Winter Olympics Leadership Series 2026 alongside a group of leadership and marketing peers.
The premise is simple (and clever): five questions that use the Olympics as a lens on leadership, personal branding, and the stories we choose to tell about ourselves and our work.
Karin Nørgaard shares, among other things:
– Which Winter Olympic sport she thinks most visually demonstrates teamwork
– And who she’d invite to the Games to attract an entirely new audience (yes, the cast of Succession makes an appearance 😄)
If you’re curious about leadership seen through a slightly different prism, you can read the piece here:

2026 CREATIVE TREND: CREATING WORK PEOPLE WANT TO BE PART OF
By @andersmunchlarsen, Creative Director
2026 feels like the year advertising and events stop trying to win by being louder.
People are tired of brands explaining how great they are. What they respond to now is how something feels, and whether it adds anything meaningful to their lives.
That’s why the shift we’re seeing is less about campaigns and more about culture. Brands that step into spaces people already care about contribute something real and create experiences that feel worth showing up for again.
Loyalty doesn’t come from reach or discounts anymore. It grows from emotional connection, from feeling understood, and from being part of something that makes sense beyond a single moment.
When it works, advertising doesn’t feel like advertising, and events don’t feel like events. They feel like culture unfolding in real time.
That’s where the real competition sits in 2026. Not for attention, but for relationships.

2026 VISUAL TREND: HOLDING BACK
By@personneq, Graphic Designer
In 2026, many art directions are about not doing things, not adding another effect, not pushing the color, and not animating everything just because you can. When everything around you is loud and unstable, you start craving the opposite.
There’s a shift towards calmer palettes, simpler layouts, typography that’s easy to read and doesn’t beg for attention.
Big visual gestures can still work. But they must be earned. Otherwise, it just feels stressful.
Good design starts to feel a bit like a person you trust in a difficult moment. Someone who doesn’t overreact. Who knows when to speak and when to stay quiet.
The strongest visual identities in 2026 won’t try to impress; they’ll make people feel calm.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
