It means “hummingbird” in Cháamtela, the language of my family and tribe, Payómkawichum. I live in LA with my college sweetheart Tanner, and our baby boy, Sol (short for Solstice). I’m an artist, songwriter, singer, musician, and content creator.
I started my music career because I feel really deeply, (painfully sometimes) and I am not afraid of my feelings anymore (I used to be) (ok sometimes I still am). I want people to know they don’t have to be afraid. And that there is so much love and joy here in this mysterious existence we’re all having together.
And I love to share the things I love here on IG. Recently, I started sharing more videos (bc I love how alive videos feel) and all of a sudden there are like over 100,000 more of you here than this time last year. And I’m still amazed by this growing connection.

The key for me was putting the health of my hair first and then accepting what it does in its healthy, natural state. I genuinely believe everyone can have a good hair day with this shift towards acceptance and love.
