Johnnie Shand Kydd
Ramsholt
Upper Gallery, TKE Studios
Preview 18 April 6-8pm
19 April – 7 June 2026
Johnnie Shand Kydd’s photographs emerge from a long engagement with the landscape of Ramsholt on Suffolk’s Bawdsey Peninsula. Made largely during daily walks through fields, river paths and woodland, the images record a place shaped equally by nature, memory and absence.
Working with analogue cameras and film, Shand Kydd embraces slowness, chance and imperfection. Each photograph is the result of observation repeated over time rather than a single decisive moment. The resulting works carry a quiet sense of history, tracing the lingering presence of those who once lived and worked within this seemingly ordinary landscape.

Jack Hirons @jackhirons
The Journey
Lower Gallery, TKE Studios
Preview 18 April 6-8pm
19 April – 7 June 2026
Tracey Emin Foundation presents new paintings by Jack Hirons, marking the culmination of his year as the Dame Tracey Emin Fellow. Over the course of the fellowship, Hirons refined his focused approach to monochrome painting, working with careful control of pigment, tone and surface.
The paintings draw on landscape imagery and recurring forms such as reflections and pathways. The works do not describe a specific location. Instead, they consider how images arise from physical matter and how material moves through cycles of change. Hirons approaches painting as a process of transformation, where the image remains connected to the world from which it comes.
The exhibition brings together paintings developed during a year of sustained studio work and ongoing dialogue.

We're so proud of @traceyeminstudio for lending her voice to this. She's been open about her cancer diagnosis and living with a stoma, and using that to raise awareness of non-visible disabilities feels exactly right.
This week, Tracey is voicing TfL's Priority Seating Week announcements across 10 central London Tube stations and several bus stations, urging commuters to offer their seats to those who may need them more. The campaign is now in its eighth year and exists to remind us that not every disability has outward cues.
Tracey put it simply: any one of us can have a health condition or disability, and because many don't have visible signs, people miss out on things that would really help them, like getting a seat on public transport.
A small act of kindness can make a real difference. If you're in London this week, you might just hear her. 🚇

Welcoming Alex Morante @slipslob to Victoria House.
Founded by Dame Tracey Emin, the Victoria House Residency gives artists up to three months to live and work in a restored Georgian house in Margate. Alex joins Enrique López Llamas for this round.
Alex makes figurative ceramic sculpture: distorted beasts and figures drawn from myth, lore, and her own subconscious. She builds complex surfaces using oxides layered with crystalline and crater glazes, evoking mold, rust, lichen, and decay. The kiln is a collaborator. Transformation and endurance show up directly on the form.

Founded by Dame Tracey Emin, the Victoria House Residency offers artists 12 weeks to live and work in Margate. Enrique is one of two artists joining us for this round.
Enrique works across painting, video, sculpture, and installation. He draws on art history, pop culture, and personal memory, using appropriation and reinterpretation to build work that sits between the familiar and the invented. Fiction, humour, and nostalgia run through it. He asks what it means to look at forms already full of meaning.

Jack Hirons makes paintings that pull you in slowly. Monochrome, atmospheric, precise. Not a view you're looking at but a world you're standing inside.
The Journey is on now, running until 7 June. It's the culmination of Jack's year as the Dame Tracey Emin Fellow, and it's absolutely worth your weekend.
The studios are open this Saturday and Sunday (and every Sat + Sun for the rest of the run) from 12–5pm.
Free to visit.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
