Texas A&M Foundation
We build a brighter future for @tamu one relationship at a time.
Meet Olivia Antonelli ’26, James Palomares ’26 and Hattie Tramm ’26, three Aggie seniors, Maroon Coats and scholarship recipients who sat down to write letters to the people they once were: wide-eyed freshmen stepping into the unknown.
Their paths have been anything but identical, filled with challenges, growth and moments that shaped who they’ve become. But woven through each story is the same thread: the lasting impact of a Texas A&M Foundation scholarship that helped turn possibility into reality.

The Texas A&M Foundation honored Tucker Gillespie ’26, Juan Olmedo Barraco ’26 and Ariana Zenn ’26 as recipients of the Trustees’ Outstanding Student Award.
This award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, character and resilience while overcoming personal or financial challenges. From excelling academically and conducting research to balancing jobs, leadership roles and future service in medicine and the military, each recipient reflects the best of the Aggie spirit.
“Each of these students is so very deserving of this award,” said Board Chairman Dan Allen Hughes Jr. '80. “They have chosen to serve others above self and overcome great challenges to get to where they are today. We are excited to see where their next steps will lead them.”
Join us in celebrating these outstanding Aggies and their achievements! 👍

“There are heroes amongst you.”
In the early hours of the Kerrville floods last summer, Aggie students became heroes. Texas A&M University students serving as counselors at Camps Mystic and La Junta led children through rising water and darkness, guiding them to higher ground and helping save dozens of lives.
Moved by the stories he heard, Kerrville banker and Aggie Chris Braaten ’99 rallied his community to honor these students through a fundraising effort that raised $100,000. Along with an additional $34,000 contributed by the Texas A&M Foundation, these funds now support scholarships recognizing 17 Aggies who acted heroically that day.
For many of the recipients, the scholarship was more than financial support; it told them that they were seen. These students didn’t ask for recognition. They simply led, and that is the Aggie Spirit. 👍

More than 1,800 Aggies. More than $100 million in impact.
For nearly four decades, the Terry Foundation has invested in students who lead, serve and give back. Behind every Terry Foundation scholarship at Texas A&M is an Aggie, each with a story, a goal and a future made possible by generosity. Each flag in this installation represents one of those students and the lives being shaped across Texas.
What began with the belief of Howard and Nancy Terry that the true strength of a university lies in its students has grown into a legacy that has transformed thousands of lives.
This past weekend, we gathered to celebrate Terry Scholars, past and present, and the milestone of $100 million in impact at Texas A&M. Their investment builds leaders, strengthens communities and creates opportunities that change lives across Texas and beyond.
This legacy lives on through every student who rises, leads and lifts others along the way.
Help us thank the Terry Foundation for nearly 40 years of unwavering belief in Aggies and the future they are helping shape.

The Endowed Opportunity Award is more than a scholarship. It is a belief in what these students can become.
Each spring, we bring recipients and donors together to connect, share stories and see the impact of this support firsthand. Through donor generosity, students are empowered to lead, grow and pursue opportunities they may not have otherwise imagined.
Hear from Karli Elaine Joyce ’27, Elizabeth Rath ’26 and James Glenn ’26 as they share how this support has shaped their journeys.
It is a powerful reminder that philanthropy does not just open doors. It shapes futures.
