Variety
The business of entertainment.

#CynthiaErivo plays 23 characters and recites 20,000 words of dialogue in “Dracula,” her West End stage production running six nights a week over 16 weeks. “It’s a weird sort of adrenaline-and-exhaustion combination,” she tells Variety, “which ends up being more exhausting than just pure exhaustion.”
Erivo says this new chapter has been “like a reemerging again” after the years-long period promoting the two #Wicked movies back-to-back. By the end of that experience, the Elphaba star says she and her co-star Ariana Grande were “holding on by threads.” She explains, “It’s very interesting, watching what people’s perception is versus what the reality actually is. Lots of psychologists seated at home deciding who we were, what we were going through, what we were doing and why.”
This includes the rampant online chatter psychoanalyzing the validity of Erivo and Grande’s friendship. Erivo claims the two still text almost every day. “I think that people didn’t really believe that we were actually friends, but that’s also because people don’t know me very well,” she explains. “If I’m a friend, then I’m a friend. If I’m not, then I’m not.”

#JimmyKimmel roasts #AdamCarolla for famously hating California before delivering an emotional tribute at Carolla’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
“It’s funny that we’re even in Hollywood right now, because Adam famously announced that he hates California so much that he would be moving out of the state as soon as his kids graduated high school. That announcement was made six years ago. Now his kids are saying, ‘We’ll move when you graduate high school.’”

#CynthiaErivo is done talking about #Wicked.
“Because I feel like I’ve spent the last two years talking about it, and I think that we have an opportunity to talk about something else,” she told Variety. “And I love ‘Wicked,’ but I’ve just talked about it ad nauseam.”

#CynthiaErivo says it was “weird” seeing several of her candid moments from the #Wicked press tour become memes online because she doesn’t “plan the reaction”:
“I actually just am being myself. Things come up, and I react how I react just as a human. Some people are just more expressive than others. I guess I’m more expressive than most.”

#SamElliott has spent more than six decades in Hollywood, but the 81-year-old says he still feels lucky to be working.
The #Landman star says reuniting with #TaylorSheridan for Season 2 was a “no-brainer” after their experience together on “1883,” praising the creator as “such a talented man.” Elliott adds that everyone involved with the series feels fortunate to be working with Sheridan.
Despite his legendary status, Elliott says he’s still learning new things about acting, especially from co-star Billy Bob Thornton. “Even though he’s playing my son, he’s still got something to offer,” Elliott says, calling Thornton a “brilliant actor” as well as a talented director and writer.
And while he’s no longer interested in playing the “young leading, dashing man,” Elliott says he’s perfectly fine with that stage of his career being behind him. “The fact that there’s a part that I can get into and really enjoy doing, it’s a wonderful thing,” he says.

If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
