Shirt design for @anciients I was finally able to get something in for my old friend @kencooked and the boys, it’s pretty incredible how far they’ve been able to take their band which is much deserved and couldn’t have happened to better dudes.

Beer label for @apolloexos, @structuresbrewing. So stoked for @goddamnyousoto and all the amazing things he’s got planned for his store and the city of Everett, a Gem the north end has long deserved.

@apparition_books is one of the best bookstores in Western WA, specializing in tomes of the Dark Arts, Weird Fiction, Art, Comics and pretty much everything else you could imagine.

A book store going 5 years strong is an amazing feat in this day and age and worth celebrating. He’s pulling out all the stops with a book reading by 800fantasyjane and a deep cut DJ set by death_valley_69.09.

From the Archives. With the announcement of @christianmistress return for a run of shows for their new album, It made me think back on these designs I did for them over 10 years ago! Hard to believe it was that long ago and that I use to do everything at twice up and would usually do 3 versions in pencil, ink and adjustments with vellum overlays before color in photoshop.

Something very satisfying about seeing them this way, as I do most things on the IPad these days with a bit of hand adjustments at the end. The quickness and ease of digital has made things better from a commercial art standpoint, but with the rise of AI, processes like these are deff starting to have an appeal again.

The poster art marked the last show our old project played with them and the last slide is the Seattle announcement for their next run of shows that I’m honored to be part of with @darkmeditation206. Tickets will prob go quick for this one so if you’re around I’d grab one now.

With the release of our new record I’d like to share a bit about the concept and creation of the Artwork. The general theme of ‘Where the Darkness Bleeds’ is the transitional point between life and death and what happens next.

Without prior intention we noticed that the lyrics shared these common themes and musically we came up with a beginning and end that bookends the album and brings it full circle.

The cover is a take on a funeral or mourning wreath that was created by collage from old Dover reference books and additional illustrations to tie it together. The back cover and general color scheme represent grave stone engravings and the greenish patina that happens with time.

Since this is a limited self release we wanted to go all in on the packaging and we included a 20 page booklet in the style of a memorial chapbook and a 12” x 12” silkscreened art print that references some of the imagery from the lyrics.

Shown is the original of the artwork and one of the later prints. Each print is unique as they were hand pulled 100 times and each one slowly obscured and decayed just like in life.

This 1st edition of 100 is the only time it will be presented like this and we’re proud of the way the whole package came together, while they are limited you can still grab a copy off our Bandcamp and they will available locally for the first time @nwterrorfest. Thanks for checking it out!

Since this is a limited self release we wanted to go all in on the packaging and we included a 20 page booklet in the style of a memorial chapbook and a 12” x 12” silkscreened art print that references some of the imagery from the lyrics.

Shown is the original of the artwork and one of the later prints. Each print is unique as they were hand pulled 100 times and each one slowly obscured and decayed just like in life.

This 1st edition of 100 is the only time it will be presented like this and we’re proud of the way the whole package came together, while they are limited you can still grab a copy off our Bandcamp and they will available locally for the first time @nwterrorfest. Thanks for checking it out!

With the release of our new record I’d like to share a bit about the concept and creation of the Artwork. The general theme of ‘Where the Darkness Bleeds’ is the transitional point between life and death and what happens next.

Without prior intention we noticed that the lyrics shared these common themes and musically we came up with a beginning and end that bookends the album and brings it full circle.

The cover is a take on a funeral or mourning wreath that was created by collage from old Dover reference books and additional illustrations to tie it together. The back cover and general color scheme represent grave stone engravings and the greenish patina that happens with time.
