What an absolute treat last night was!
Last night, Susie and Jon were lucky enough to be invited to a special preview screening and panel discussion for the new season of Rivals (first three episodes available on Disney+ from today!) at @everymancinema in Bristol. The screening was made possible by @westofenglandcombinedauthority and Royal Television Society West of England @rtswoe.
There were some fabulous outfits, sexy cocktails and tasty canapes, but the main event (no spoilers!!) was, as one panellist put it, "Delicious!". Lots of love for filming in Bristol and @thebottleyardstudios. 95% of the locations are within a 30-mile radius of Bristol across the whole of the West of England as well as Cotswolds.
We spotted at least three Visit West member businesses featured in episode one, including an epic 'Rutshire Cup' polo match. The new series is an absolute treat on the eyes, ears and senses.
Susie Bowers (Visit Bristol PR Manager) was able to include the screening event as part of a 'Rivals-inspired' media trip collaborating with our friends at Cotswolds Tourism @the_cotswolds over three days, visiting filming locations and taking part in 80s-themed experiences in Bristol and surrounds.
Make sure to watch away on @disneyplusuk and then come and visit the the real Rutshire.....

It’s been 10 years since @swoon_gelato opened its first cafe on College Green in Bristol!
To celebrate, we have supported Swoon by filming a Food Friday with Operations Manager Josh (which has had over 13k views) and having Ana from Swoon attend our food & drink media event. Max and Janine also attended their 10th birthday party at the College Green store.
If you have an anniversary or event coming up, please let the Visit West team know, and we will do our best to support you!

On Monday evening, we hosted our second @visitbristol Food & Drink Media Event at No.1 Harbourside, and what a fantastic night it was.
We welcomed an incredible 41 member businesses alongside 31 media and content creators, bringing together some of the very best of Bristol’s food and drink scene.
From sushi and small plates to gin cocktails, afternoon tea, locally grown and produced wines and even tiramisu, guests enjoyed a true taste of the city, with many of our members showcasing samples of what they do best.
It was also a brilliant opportunity for @no1harbourside to spotlight their venue and new seafood menu in front of a highly engaged audience.
We’re now looking forward to seeing the coverage roll in over the coming weeks – from creative content to in-depth features – and continuing to champion Bristol as a leading food and drink destination.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible.
