How it felt knowing we were creating an album of SZA songs together 🎻The VSQ arrangers created beautiful versions of some of our favorite SZA songs, then we each went in to record them together, and now FINALLY we get to play the songs together and hear how each of our individual styles fit in.

Fun fact: We don’t always go into the studio together. In fact, we often go in individually to work with the arranger on our specific parts! When we finally get to hear the entire piece, we listen together with the other musicians who played on the record and have a moment to celebrate what we created.

“Kill Bill” was so fun to make because we are all huge fans of SZA and her music is complex and intricate. The arrangement feels special!
