We rolled up to the RDS feeling the hum before the hum became a roar. The place was sold out, tickets clutched like little promises, and the line outside pulsed with that festival energy you only get when a crowd knows they’re about to witness something collective and unrepeatable.
The setlist was fluid, intuitive songs folding into each other like waves. You could feel the energy bounce from the stage to the crowd and back again, each drop of bass hitting like collective release. What Fred @fredagainagainagainagainagain does best is remind you that emotion and euphoria don’t have to be opposites; they can exist in the same chord, the same kick drum, the same chorus sung by 10,000 voices at once.

“People often ask me why I sing with a strong Irish accent. I suppose when I was five years old, I spoke with a strong Irish accent, so I sang with one, too.”
In 1989, at eighteen years old, Dolores auditioned for a Limerick band called The Cranberry Saw Us, which was searching for a new vocalist. Dolores walked into the audition with a self-written song that would later become “Linger,” one of The Cranberries’ most iconic hits… talk about first impressions 🤯

February 27th can’t come quick enough, one of the most exciting folk trios @saltaire__ and prepping to drop their debut EP… Absolutely loving this folk resurgence!
Reflecting tradition and innovation, ‘Only Moonlight’ emerges as a defining calling card, as Saltaire confidently interlace much-loved tunes and folk classics with bold original work.
Creating ‘Only Moonlight’, “was like a build-your-own-dream, sleep away camp experience.” More info and quotes are over on the VOID: link in bio 🔗

Following the announcement of their intimate February 2026 Irish tour, The Frames @theframesofficial have revealed the local support artists who will join them at each venue in Dundalk, Limerick, Clonakilty, and Kilkenny, further underscoring the tour’s focus on grassroots music spaces and the emerging talent they continue to nurture.
Rowan Murphy is an 18-year-old indie folk singer-songwriter from Ireland whose music pairs introspective lyricism with soul-stirring melodies. @_rowan.music_
Limerick guitarist and singer-songwriter Seán O’Meara has been immersed in music from an early age, blending folk, rock and pop influences into a distinctive sound. @sean__omeara
Brought together by musician and sound engineer Seamus Poillot for the 2025 ‘Qualiphaunt’ gig at DeBarra’s – an event specifically designed to showcase local talent – here, Andrew Whelton, Rian McCarthy, Kieran Jayes, and James Carey took their first step on their ‘Intricate’ journey. intricate_official_
ELISE is an indie/alternative folk artist whose music combines heartfelt lyricism with expansive, rhythm-driven soundscapes.
The tour aims to be part of a wider ongoing conversation about the real hurdles these venues face to keep delivering quality shows. Without sustained support for these rooms, the artists of tomorrow may never get the chance to take their first steps. For The Frames, these shows are an opportunity to give something back to the venues that helped shape their journey.

“All these songs have addresses,” says Ye Vagabonds co-frontman Diarmuid Mac Gloinn. “They’re about specific locations and specific people.” 🗣️ @yevagabonds @diarmuidmacgloinn
Recorded live in a house in Galway, All Tied Together is a powerful and cinematic album, featuring deeply evocative original songs infused with memory, tribute, and gratitude.
While initially achieving renown as purveyors of their ancestors’ music mixed with folk-based originals, the Mac Gloinn brothers, Brían and Diarmuid have increasingly focused on honing their own material, enlisting trusted co-conspirators to distill voice and vision into potent tunes. “These 15 tracks depict a blossoming of myself from ages 23 to 25 and a blossoming of a true, real love that anchors both me and this record. It tells the story of the last few long winters, with all of their villains and thorns, heartbreaks and rains, and it leads you, by the end, into a perfect English spring, into the hope and catharsis that comes when the first wildflower blooms.” @maisiehpeters
Drawing from the aftermath of the relationship explored on The Good Witch, as well as the love story she’s now living, Maisie Peter’s Florescence reflects on how the right love can help heal the wrong ones.

“The lyrics of this single are quite revealing, and that says a lot given that my debut EP was already quite vulnerable in a way that it talked a lot about my personal life. But, having had five years between the release and when it was first written, when I think about it… I don’t know whether my fortune with relationships has really changed that much.” 🗣️ @ylroy
After their acclaimed EP “Three Flowers For My Beloved”, Ylroy returns to Dublin’s indie music scene with a new single – “like a Boyfriend”, signalling a lush expansion in their sound.
Recorded by Grammy award-winning sound engineer Ben Rawlins, Ylroy retains their previous anti-folk inspirations in their lyricism while revealing a more evocative journey in their arrangement and ballad-like vocal performance.
This record and my next EP wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Fingal Artist Support Scheme @fingalartsoffice , which I am eternally grateful for.”

“This is my rant song. A song about accepting that sometimes you live and you don’t learn. It’s human nature to mess up, to sometimes fall into the old mistakes you thought you’d grown out of. This song is my celebration of this and an invitation to slightly poke fun at yourself. Thought you’d know better by now? Well guess what, you don’t! Dust yourself off, have a little laugh and move on.” 🗣️ @tessarosejackson
Jackson’s third studio album, The Lighthouse, is set to be released later this month – a haunting yet life-affirming reflection on ancestry and belonging.
“The Lighthouse felt like a beacon,” she reflects. “It’s an album that talks about death, but not in a purely dark sense. For me, it’s also about the celebration of life – embracing fears, identity, and the stories we inherit.”

“Most of our songs come about through long-winded jam sessions before going through a fair few tweaks to become the final product.” 🗣️ Emily @therapy.horse.ire
Therapy Horse are the kind of band that sound like they crawled out of a rehearsal room at midnight, covered in feedback and ideas, and decided to keep the energy rolling.
Their latest single, LOVE / MERCY, was supposed to be something entirely different. When Emily and Cormac started writing together in early 2024, they had dreams of folky shoegaze inspired by Wednesday and Big Thief.
That plan dissolved almost instantly… head over to the VOID to read directly from the band and listen to the track!

@itscurtisy has a habit of showing up right where Irish music feels most alive. Since that early spark with Kojaque a couple of years back, the Dublin rapper has quietly but confidently carved out his own lane, one that feels less like a career plan and more like a series of honest check-ins with himself.
There is a conversational quality to Curtisy’s work that makes it stick. His songs live somewhere between sharp humour and low-level dread, grounded in the realities of working-class Dublin and the strange weight of trying to make something of yourself while staying sane.
“GET A LIFE” Curtisy’s latest project scheduled to drop March 20th moves at its own pace, comfortable sitting with contradiction and uncertainty. Pre save and read more over in The VOID, link in bio!
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
