2015. After a KRS-One gig at the old Unity Radio building on Primrose Street, on the walk back to town @misc.jockey tagged a wall with my long time MySpace name “Watch Deez”. I’ve always liked this image, so kept it in my photo library. Nice one Danny!
So, unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a birthday gig this year. I’ve got more chance of laying an egg than landing a paid set anywhere, so plan B is to have drinks in Manchester instead. My actual birthday is on Friday but reckon I’ll have a day trip out of town.
If you’re free during the day on Saturday the 30th of May from about 3/4pm onwards, I’ll probably head in to town for drinks and a catch up. Thinking of starting at @houseofsocial_mcr (not far from Deansgate/Castlefield tram stop) and then on to somewhere else later. Maybe @doubledownbar or the Northern Quarter.
Give me a shout if you fancy it, or don’t if you just want to rock up unannounced 😆 Be good to see some faces.
