When I first heard from Emil last year about his plans to do something like this right here in Hamburg I couldn’t believe it. I never heard of anything comparable in Germany. A DJ set in the center of a parking lot filled with cool cars?!
But Emil made it happen. And I’m happy I could supportthe event by promoting it here and by being part in the event trailers! Maybe even a little by my Japan stories from January. I really hope that this wasn’t just a one-time event and that this will be repeated. If so, I’m more than happy to join again!

At the start of May there is an all new meet on the horizon, and it’s happening right here in Hamburg! My buddy @emils.garage is organizing a true underground meet. An entire parking garage, rented for one evening for 350 cars.

When I was in Japan I visited the Mega Show Japan, which was a similar concept and I’m really looking forward to it! Emil (who also visited Japan recently!) wants to bring a similar spirit to Hamburg - the Sundowner Nightshift.
When he asked me if I want to take part in the event trailer with the R32 I immediately agreed. Although the weather wasn’t ideal it was still lots of fun to film some clips all around Hamburg! Thanks Emil for involving me and making some pictures too 🤍

Picture this: you are driving through Tokyo at 1 am, Saturday night and just want to go home to Yokohama because it was a long day. You somehow mess up the route and find yourself in Chinatown. Quick stop at 7eleven to get some snacks and a hot tea. Your nav finally picks up the route again, you turn right and you see an empty street, lit up by a red dragon and dozens of lanterns 🐉🏮
Well, that’s what happend here! I suppose it was all for the Chinese new year, I just had to stop to take some pictures (even though it was freezing cold and we were tired). Tokyo has so many amazing places which you randomly find 🥰

The Japan trip (which hopefully most of you followed through my stories) is over. It was a dream of mine to travel to this country where I bought the Skyline from. And finally I made it happen! And not only that, I bought my new daily car there.

The Honda Odyssey (or simply Ody, that’s how we called it during the trip) is not a very desired car by car enthusiasts. A few years back I actually first saw this “RB1” variant, which is JDM only, heavily modified on a video of a stance car meet in Japan and I instantly wondered what it is. During my search for a daily car, the Odyssey made more and more sense to actually get. Even if it is a minivan, I feel like it’s more like a big station wagon. It has a shorter roof than most vans. The Absolute model that I got has a 200 hp K24A engine, a very reliable power plant. It has TONS of space. And, unlike an R32 4door or JZX you get a lot for your money.

When my plans for TAS developed I thought: why don’t I buy the car in Japan and drive it there? And this led to this incredible experience.
The first post of the Odyssey is dedicated to this sunset on top of Mt.Taikan in Hakone. We were already exhausted, wanted to get to our AirBNB after the long drive from Tokyo…but thought let’s give it a shot to see Fuji on top of the Hakone touge. You can see the result on this picture. I was just standing there and couldn’t believe my life led to this. On top of Hakone, clear sight on Fuji and the beautiful sunset might have been my highlight of the trip. It was very emotional to finally get to this point. Truly an unbelievable experience and I’m soooo grateful that I was able to do it ❤️

End of 2025 and time to wrap up an amazing year for me and the Skyline! I went to more meets than ever without any major issues besides the engine burning oil. My first time in Poland for Ultrace was one of the coolest experiences ever. Driving on the road with underglow on, people from all over the world complimenting the car, take me back! This picture was from the pre meet in Wroclaw.
But there were sooo many other cool moments 🙌🏻

2026 brings some major changes for myself. A new job is awaiting, a new car (which I can’t wait to share details of!) and the Japan trip in January which I dreamt of for at least 10 years. Also at the end of Januar the Skyline will be on the @bremenclassicmotorshow thanks to @kyusha_clan_germany, so if you are there…check it out ✌🏻

Thank you everyone around the world for following me and my adventures with the R32. It is still my dream car and I can’t wait to share more of my journey with it. See you in 2026!

Looking back at the season 2025 there are so many moments from meets and drives I truly won’t forget. This is one of them…driving the Polish highway with the crew, from one meet to another, captured by my friend @motographic.vision and his camera. Truly gave some Japan vibes.
Thats what its all about. You and the car, riding through the night, some music in the background, intake and exhaust sounds around you…just perfect.
Ultrace is of course part of the 2026 calendar for me and I can’t wait to be back in Wroclaw next summer!

When I went out for the shooting with @beeze_photography I thought for at least 10 minutes: Should I ask this really cool guy to make some of the pictures with me in front of the 32 instead of just the car? He immediately said: “Sure, let’s do it!”. I still wasn’t sure if I wanted it but made it happen.
