So what do I do with all the nature sounds I’m recording on my travels?

Beyond building a personal sound library for future projects, I’ve been using them as raw material for creative sound design. In this example we have a river recording, which is then processed, layered, and shaped into something entirely new using simple sound design techniques.

There’s a certain unpredictability and nuance in natural sounds that AI just can’t replicate (yet), and that organic texture can add some serious flavor to your music.

Looking back on my time in Joshua Tree, which quickly became one of my favorite places. You don’t expect to find a palm tree oasis hidden out in the desert, but there it was.

The tranquility of it all felt like a real, living mirage. I didn’t think a place in nature could be so quiet, yet still feel so alive.

Yosemite was unreal.

After six months of traveling the country, I’m feeling more inspired than ever - creatively, emotionally, mentally. It’s been a mix of peace, chaos, and growth, but always worth it.
