Reality is not a perfect drag strip! 👀🏁

Every Launch Control setup is designed for a stock car under specific conditions. This is usually on a dry, warm tarmac with good grip, where the car can achieve the best possible acceleration times.🛞

But your reality might be different. You may live in an area where the roads are old and worn, or where the weather is generally damp and cold. These factors will lead to sub-optimal acceleration times, as the factory LC will apply too much torque initially. Once the wheels are ‚overspun‘, it’s difficult to regulate them without losing time. Depending on the internal algorithm, the Launch Control may either bog down the car or simply let the wheels spin; either way, it will hardly get it right.

This is especially true for FWD/RWD cars, but even AWD won’t save you from lighting up all four wheels and losing time from a certain power level, as can be seen in this video. This M8 is fully stock. It has stock suspension, stock wheels, stock tuning, etc., and yet the factory LC still struggles to get the power down because it was simply not optimised for the „slippery“ road on which it was tested.

xHP offers precise adjustment of Launch Control parameters for 8-speed ZF and 7-speed DCT transmissions. These parameters can be adjusted depending on your specific situation.⚡️

New Update: Reactivation, on your terms. 🔐

xProtect automatically reactivates after your BMW goes to sleep — meaning the code is required again before the car can be moved.

With our latest update, you can now disable automatic reactivation and only turn it on, when you actually need it.

Why it matters: if your car is parked somewhere safe, you can switch off auto-reactivation and skip the code every time you drive off. Heading out for the weekend? Turn it back on whenever you need it — giving you full control over when your BMW is protected.
