Your Place
Join us in our mission to end homelessness one person at a time. Together, we can make a difference. 🧡

For people rebuilding after homelessness, confidence grows when they have stability and people who believe in them. That’s why we’re proud that 94% of residents feel more confident living independently because of the support they received at Your Place. A supportive community makes all the difference. 🏠💜

“People really care, and so many people I’ve met have helped me get to where I am now.” 🌱
Jason worked through the exhaustion and fear of homelessness until it pushed his mental health to breaking point. When he arrived at Your Place, he finally felt safe, listened to, supported and able to rebuild.
With help from our team, he regained stability, accessed healthcare, and eventually moved into a home of his own.
Your support makes journeys like Jason’s possible.

This month, Malik marked 22 years of being on the team! His story is a reminder of the dedication behind the scenes, and the people who show up every day to make Your Place what it is. 💜
“I’ve been at Your Place for 22 years, and I’m still here because I enjoy what I do and the impact our work has on people. When residents arrive, they’re often at their most vulnerable. To then see them grow, leave happier, and move to independent living is very rewarding. The moments that stay with me most are when someone comes back just to say thank you - telling us they’ve found a job, they’re doing well, and they’re happy. That gives me motivation, knowing I’ve played a small part in helping someone find their place in society.
I’m really proud of my journey here. I started as a porter, handling deliveries and supporting the maintenance team, and from there I’ve had the opportunity to grow - moving into a receptionist role, then evening duty manager, and now my current role as reception manager. Each step has taught me something new and pushed me to develop.”

Every day is a chance to rewrite the story.
Anthony arrived at Your Place unsure of what came next. But with support, space and people who believed in him, he discovered the version of himself he always hoped he could be.
Today, he’s a community poet, a charity worker and a friend to those who need the same support he once did.

One year ago, we opened The Harbour Project to address a critical gap in homelessness services.
Today, it's a place where people can stay long-term, connect, belong and begin to imagine a future again. Many are taking steps they hadn’t for years - returning to education, volunteering and rebuilding confidence.
Like Naz, who has experienced a lifetime of rejection linked to his autism. “From the moment I walked in, I experienced kindness. Now I feel hope.”
Together, we’re showing what’s possible when people are given the stability, community and long-term support they need to build a better future.

This is what recovery can look like 💜
Not long ago, Alina had a career, stability and a place to call home. Then her mental health deteriorated and everything changed.
She lost her job. Her relationships. Her home. She experienced homelessness and repeated hospital stays.
“I lost everything – my job, my belongings, my home and my mind.”
But with the right support, things began to change. Today, Alina lives at Your Place - somewhere safe, supportive and hers.
“I’m happy here… This building is my home.”
Now she’s rebuilding her life, finding joy in the little things again, and giving back where she can.

We’re excited to share that The Harbour Project at Your Place has been shortlisted for a @homeless_link Excellence Award!
The project provides 23 safe, long term homes and a supportive community for people who’ve experienced homelessness. Alongside self contained flats, residents have access to shared spaces, activities and 24/7 support – helping people feel safe, connected and able to rebuild their lives.
This recognition belongs to our incredible residents, teams, partners and supporters, who help make this community possible every day. 💜

Because of you, lives changed in 2025/26.
In the 12 months to 31st March, this is what you helped make happen:
🏠 243 people supported, each with more hope for the future
🚪 120 new residents welcomed, taking vital first steps away from homelessness
💼 37 residents supported into employment
🔑 73 residents moved on to stable homes, ready for their next chapter
Behind every number is a real person, a real story and real change - and none of this would have happened without you. From all of us, thank you so much for being part of this journey. 🧡

Every room at Your Place holds a story.
Someone rebuilding confidence after crisis. Someone finally able to breathe, rest and plan their next step. Someone beginning to believe in their future again.
Across our 153 rooms - 115 in our main services, 15 at Hope Street, and 23 through The Harbour Project - each person arrives with their own needs, hopes and goals.
With your support, we’re not just providing rooms. We’re solving homelessness, one person at a time. 🧡

New figures show Newham has the highest number of homelessness applications caused by relationship breakdown in London - more than 2,000 people since 2020.
When relationships end, too many people lose not just their partner but also their home. Cohabiting partners, in particular, often have far fewer legal protections than they realise, leaving one person suddenly at risk of homelessness.
At Your Place, we support people in Newham who find themselves facing this kind of crisis. Everyone deserves safety, dignity and a stable place to rebuild. 🧡

Sometimes it’s the quiet moments that matter most.
Naz has been spending time doing some colouring to unwind - a simple activity that’s helping him slow down, relax and feel at ease in his own space.
After everything he’s been through, having a safe place to call home means he can focus on his wellbeing, one small step at a time. At Your Place, we’re here for those steps - big and small. 🧡

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
