ZARA LIM | Kwan Studio Ballet
TERM 3 ENROLMENTS OPEN 18 MAY
Dancer-turned-lawyer-turned-dancer
I trained at the Australian Ballet School
I teach adult ballet classes
Come to @adrian_dimi ‘s adv/pro open ballet class with me 🩰
This is my 2nd class back with him since December. My right foot is better but not fully better (I injured the FHL tendon so can’t do demi pointe properly, but it’s definitely getting better slowly).
My 1st class back with Adrian a few weeks ago, I thought my foot was fully better and did the whole class full out and had the best class and was really ON! 😂 and then the next day my injury had gone back to square one. So taking it slowly now!
For my beginners, here are the exercise references:
1. Ronde de jambe (one side I’m doing en dehors set, other side I’m doing en dedans)
2. Some of port de bras end of RDJ
3. Fondu
4. Adage
5. Grand battement
6. A bit of plié
You can see I also don’t know what the exercise is sometimes 😅

Hello and welcome to Kwan Studio! My name is Zara, I started this lil business right in the middle of the pandemic in 2021.
I trained full-time at the Australian Ballet School under the guidance of Irina Konstantinova, Lisa Pavane, Tang Xiuyun and Wang Jiahong. During my 4 years at ABS, I had the privilege to perform in Swan Lake Act II, Leigh Rowles' Nutcracker, Coppélia and in Morning Melodies. I also had the opportunity to extra with the Australian Ballet.
However, instead of completing my studies at ABS, I decided to move into law. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Chinese, French) from La Trobe University. Over a 5-year period, I worked as a commercial litigation and intellectual property lawyer at both global and boutique law firms (K&L Gates and Aptum), and also served as associate to the honourable Associate Justice Efthim at the Supreme Court of Victoria.
In 2021, I came full circle and returned to my first love, ballet. As well as running my adult ballet classes, I have taught ballet to children at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and SCIMM Dance. I have completed my teacher training under the Ballet Conservatoire syllabus (Russian Vaganova) and am also a qualified PBT teacher. I have attended teacher training seminars with Royal Ballet School and ABS.
I am passionate about teaching ballet to adults, and bring well-rounded and varied life experience to my teaching! After many years away from ballet, I have very muchly rekindled my love for ballet, and train semi-regularly myself with Adrian Dimitrievitch and Sakura Shimizu, just for enjoyment.
In 2025, 16 years after ‘quitting’ ballet, I performed in SWIM’s music video ‘Dear Friend.’ And in 2026, I was a choreographer for the Western Ballet Project’s adult ballet company production of Cleopatra.
I find ballet meditative and believe everybody should be able to participate in ballet, whether starting as an absolute beginner or picking it back up after many years away!
🎬 1. Level 6 at ABS (2008)
2. My little performance from 2025 (rehearsal).
3. Dancing in SWIM’s music video ‘Dear Friend’ (2025).
4. My little performance from 2023.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
