With this year’s festival theme, In Touch, Berlin Science Week 2026 focuses on the personal side of science: how research touches and improves our lives, affects the people behind it, and connects us with one another. 

The 2026 programme highlights the people, institutions, and stories behind the scientific breakthroughs, exploring what happens when science is in touch, when it loses touch, and how it connects us all. Partners are invited to share their research and the stories behind it, engaging the public and demonstrating the real-world impact of their work.
