March 15th is my birthday, and years ago I said that one day I would hold a sound healing experience on my solar return. I didn’t just say it I truly envisioned it. I imagined holding space through sound, frequency, and intention, helping people reset and reconnect.

So it feels incredibly aligned that this year I’ll be leading a live sound bath meditation during Trap Yoga at Sycamore & Oak @sycamoreoak

This experience is also being hosted by my friend, celebrity Wellness Architect Britt Dupree Daniels @brittdupreedaniels . We’ve known each other for about five years, and I’ve always respected the energy he brings to the wellness community here in DC. It means a lot to share space together for this.

And to make the day even more special, Gingerbeet @gingerbeetdc will also be there as a vendor, bringing some of our favorites:

A quick recap from Jeff Wright’s inaugural Beauty Master Makeup Class at Shanklin Hall @shanklinhall. Jeff @makeup_machine is a celebrity makeup artist with over two decades of experience as a makeup artist and stylist.

My company Gingerbeet @gingerbeetdc had the pleasure of curating a botanical plant-based spread for the event, paired with non-alcoholic sparkling rosé. The experience opened with a grounding meditation led by my friend Andromeda Peters @andromedapeters — Miss Universe Ghana, Miss United States 2018, and a licensed therapist — followed by a full moon ritual and sound bath meditation that I led.

Jeff then took the stage for the master class with Monique Samuels @moniquesamuels from Real Housewives Of Potomac and Author as the model, sharing incredible tips and techniques. Khilia @iam_khiliachantal, a talented makeup artist, was also one of the event’s sponsors and gifted brushes to attendees.

Shout out to Shanklin Hall @shanklinhall. We’ve had the pleasure of hosting several events there and have built great relationships with their team. We’re grateful they continue to hold space for experiences like this.
