Award-winning artists VICTOR PAYAN and POCHA PEÑA bring their By Any Memes Necessary locura to Highways for the premier of FASHION VS. FASCISM, the first PRÊT-À-DEPORTER fashion show/performance.

This event features a cadre of stylish artist provocateurs exploring notions of fashion as a form of resistance, urban camouflage, invisibility, quick change, uniform, misdirection, transformation, drag, rasquache, camp, lucha libre, humor and all-around fierceness in the fight against fascism. Get ready for House of Lucha to step out onto the runway!

Highways is proud to welcome interdisciplinary artists Victor Payan and Pocha Peña, who are known for their By Any Memes necessary approach to performance, culture jamming and satire, and their projects Dreamocracy in America, Rudos y Tecnicos, Aztec Gold with Lou Chalibre and the VOTOS LOCOS video game.
