On top of acting , Being able to wreck and sell out for a shot gun with a squib practical blood effects is a stunt most stunt we all have to do … getting thetiming done right once so that they don’t have to set up the squib again is what saves productionmoney and time !

times are really tough because there’s a lot of great action actresses who can do their own death nowadays

My love for horses spans generations, and it’s all because of my dad, Philip. 🐴✨True to his name—which means “lover of horses”—and his birth sign (Year of the Horse). Both Grandpas rode horses , Dad’s Dad rode through his military career in China and Taiwan ,My Mom’s Dad rode when he was young and always wished his kids would ride .

MyMom took my sis and Istarting when I wasage 5 toat Rhonda’s Ranch in the Mt. Diablo Bay Area, we rode ponies at first and went to horse camp , learned togroom , prep and care , and eventually enteredbarrel races . Through middle and high school we rodetrails at R-Wild Horse Ranch in Redding …connecting with horses was one of our family’s favorite weekend, activities.

Though it’s a side of me I never pursued professionally it’s still a dream to me to be able to ride in a movie or TV show in a western!

My dad’s own journey started in 1947, when he was just a 5-year-old boy riding to safety from China to Taiwan, helping my grandfather—who served under Chiang Kai-shek—evacuate women and children after the war. When he got separated from the group, he trusted his horse to carry him safely back to camp.

On this Memorial Day, I honor my grandfather’s service and My parents love for Horses . Thank you for inspiring me to ride so we could share those trails together growing up. Happy Memorial Day. 🕊️🇺🇸
