i've been dreaming of this specific wanda shot for YEARS and i'm so excited to finally have made it happen. all photos (minus the "please stand by" screen) are my various wanda cosplays over the years. wanda is one of the characters i've been cosplaying the longest, so this is actually a bit emotional to have cosplays of mine over so many years in the same photo.

Favorite Role or artistic accomplishment over the last 4 years?- My favorite roles I played at LIU were Margaret White in Rocnation’s Carrie the Musical, and Mom in Small Jokes About Monsters. Both were the roles most different from myself, which gave me a really exciting challenge!
Favorite LIU memory- Too many to choose. Opening night of Brilliant Traces, the first show I ever directed, has to be up there. But one of my absolute core memories was after opening night of 7 years my freshman year, running out after bows and giving the cast the biggest hugs. We were cheering, so excited to have completed our first show at college.
I think of that moment a lot to remind myself how happy being in shows makes me.
What does being an artist mean to you?- Being an artist is being a part of things that make people feel the way I feel when I watch my favorite media. Whether it’s making someone happy and being an escape from reality, or helping someone feel seen and represented, I want to do for others what my favorite artists do for me.

time for me to get emotional (what's new). but i wasn't sure i'd make it here.
when i was in high school, i didn't want to commit to a college because it meant comitting to living another 4 years. i didn't want to do that. but i am so incredibly glad i did. this cap and gown mean so much more to me than a degree, its proof to myself that i made it and was able to fight to make the life i wanted.
so much of my life has changed. my childhood dog is gone. my childhood home is someone else's. my family is different. so, liu brooklyn quickly became my home. this place showed me i don't have to change who i am to belong. that there is a place for me. even if it's run down dorm bedrooms that are somehow bigger than the blackbox stages i was performing on. it's the community i desperately needed. i have now met my mentors, my best friends, and a support system larger than i could have imagined.
even if i only got to know you breifly (because i genuinley was so busy. i swear i wanted to hang out with all of you so much more than i did i was just going insane😭), you were still such a huge part of making this place home. even just smiling and saying hi when we pass by eachother helped me feel safe. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

i saw the first 25 minutes of the mandalorian and grogu EARLY thanks to @lucasfilm hosting me at their early screening!! (in theaters may 22!)💚
it is so so cool getting to see mando on the big screen. even just the first 25 minutes feel so huge and are visually incredibly stunning. this made me VERY excited to see the rest, & i'm kind of losing my mind at the fact that i was invited to a star wars event (especially for one of my absolute favorite star wars projects / characters)
