Best gig of 2023! 'LIQUIDVERSE' live showcase at @experiencecosm in Salt Lake City, UT. Composer Ricardo Romaneiro @composernyc and I had the privilege of working with members of the Utah Symphony earlier in the year, creating a shared experience under Cosm's incredible 8k immersive LED dome.

@composernyc, @metroensemble, and I are currently working on LIQUIDVERSE: Macrocosm & Microcosm, an immersive audiovisual experience, which will play at a Cosm's upcoming 12K theaters in Los Angeles and Grandscape Texas in 2024.

I have two planetarium shows coming up next week in New Jersey with @strangersstoppingstrangersband! Friday is sold out, but Thursday is still available. Tickets available via link in my bio.

The show will at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, just across the river from Manhattan. This is one of the largest domes in North America.

Hands-on since 2008... What's the point of doing this all by hand, isn't it easier to just render everything digitally or even use AI to do it? It's because it's better for me to do it this way. I can't get the same intuition and expressiveness for visual music with digital representations. I need to touch the artwork with my hands and feel it. Even though I use the whole spectrum of tools now, including VJ software, I still have to have the heart of it be something physical and organic, where the visuals become an extension of myself as an artist.

Updating my system for live, expressive visuals. Basically taking the classic overhead projector method for doing Liquid Light Shows and sending it to hyperspace... I now have 2x live 4K camera inputs, and a few terabytes of analog liquid, Lumia, slide projection, experimental films, laser, oscilloscope, and other optical effects loaded in.
