Inevitably, I would always wind up in the cookbook section, or with a Nancy Drew, and each time we left the store, a small voice inside of me would whisper, one day, you’ll be here on the shelves.

So here I am, over two decades later, a 40 year old mom of three, and my book is in fact on the shelves. Last night at the 92nd Street Y someone asked how it feels to go for your dreams later in life. I said it feels like everything that has happened to me has materialized exactly when it was meant to, and the older I get the more I realize that there is no timeline, no clock, no roadmap except your own. Strawberry Milkshake, Vegan 🌸🍓🍫I can find strawberries at two of my favorite organic farms which means it’s officially strawberry season. Might be the best thing I’ve had all week.

1 cup strawberries
1 and 1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup yogurt I used @cocojune_organic unsweetened plain Greek style.
1/4 cup coconut water/Nut Milk mixed
Chocolate rice crispies I used @onedegreeorganics
Yogurt for topping

Blend everything together except the cereal, pour into a glass add the chocolate crispies on top and more yogurt, enjoy!
