One from the vault - Bafa lake back in January. I knew I wanted to do Bermuda Şeytan Üçgeni when we visited Bafa as soon as I first saw videos like the Petzl roctrip; wild huecos that look like dragon eggs the size of houses.

What I found out in hindsight was that locals rarely climb the full line any more and take an early exit due to deteriorated rock quality, this made for an exciting time once I rocked onto the now sparsely featured slab😁

Andy had put a good bit of effort getting it in condition, with extensive gardening and scrubbing to move that run off streak, and it all paid off in a fantastic send. It’s still clean and that run off is now gone for anyone keen 👀

I had been awake for 29 hours after travelling back from Spain and a long wait at the airport prior to our flight and I returned on one of the last days of that fantastic weather window, there was no chance I would miss such a day. I nearly managed a repeat too, figuring out the bottom crux quite quickly but feeling rather delirious at the top I couldn’t quite make it.

But Andy chilled up it after a spicy fall from near the top where I was nearly the one getting hurt due to my sublime spotting.
A great day all in all

pretty psyched about this - been wanting to make a no frills edit of caley for a while and the connies over the holidays have rewarded us with a dry caley!

plenty of the classics and some lesser trafficked problems too, with guest appearances from @leo_skinner, @hollytoothill_ and @solly.k.d

definitely the longest project I've put time into - go have a look on youtube:)

I wrote a bit about this briefly when I did Syretts Saunter but there's something so special about being able to return to the crags where you began climbing. Psycho has been on my radar for at least a decade and it was an odd feeling finally standing on top of it - I can remember staring up at the chicken heads thinking there's got to be something to hold on to up there
