Safe to say the Fox had a good time.

Met a lot of you, heard a few stories, and apparently made a bit of an impression along the way.

He’s back now… but something tells me that wasn’t a one-time visit.

The Fox said he was stepping away for a bit…

Next thing we know he’s at #M365, meeting people like he’s been there before. Took a few photos, had a few conversations, and somehow made himself right at home.

Took a couple days for it to click.

Not a big realization. Just connecting the dots. Why things felt slower, heavier, more complicated than they needed to be.

Same pattern, different places.

At some point, you stop questioning it.

And just adjust.

Looks like the Fox got there first. 😌

You ever catch yourself doing something the long way… and then realize you don’t even know why anymore?

Nothing is actually in the way. No one told you to do it like this. If you really stopped and looked at it, there’s probably a much simpler path sitting right there.

But somehow, this is the version that stuck. The extra step, the awkward reach, the way everyone just kind of works around it without thinking twice.

At some point, it stopped being a workaround and just became “the process.”

It even happened to the Fox once…

back when Mr. Dobé was just part of the routine.

It was supposed to be simple. One thing to review, one decision to make, and move on.

But somehow it turned into comments, edits, new versions, and a few more people getting involved along the way. Nothing dramatic, just enough to slow everything down without anyone really noticing it.

At some point, the work stopped moving forward and just started stacking on itself.

And then you see it.

Mr. Dobé.

Not new. Just… always part of it.

It started as a quick sync.

Five minutes.

One topic.

Somehow it needed a room like this.

The Fox showed up prepared anyway. 💻

Still in transit.

Still working.

Plot twist!!! The Fox had already arrived at #SAMSDACH earlier this week.

London. Austin. Berlin.

At this point, we’re just keeping track.

So instead of resetting every time… he brought the whole setup with him. 💻

Same system and way of working. Just a different table this time.

Turns out, that’s the part that matters.

@SXSW doesn’t slow things down.

If anything… it speeds everything up.

The Fox had a plan.

Grab a coffee, find a spot, and catch up on one thing.

That lasted about 30 seconds.

Now it’s messages coming in, things to review, a quick reply turning into three more, and a laptop that somehow never closes.

So the coffee stays in one hand,
the phone in the other,
and the work… keeps moving.

Not ideal.

But also?

Handled. 💻
