As you may be aware, we are hitting the UK this June with our legendary pals @officialskunkanansie. We are so grateful for the somewhat rare opportunity to play with a band we have been running alongside of since 1995.

I was talking about you last night.
I was telling some friends that when you died, I wanted to die too.
I was thinking about those last minutes we shared together. The vet had come over to the house. Candles were burning in every room.The fire was burning in the hearth. Chopin nocturnes were burning through space, through every hole , every cave, every chasm of the world .
When the vet administered the initial sedative into your little leg, your eyes widened and searched for mine. I pulled you onto my lap and you calmly closed your eyes for the final time. We breathed together like one.
And there was no fuss. No fear. Only peaceful little breaths that gradually became more and more shallow until they stopped entirely.
You were ready to go. There was no fight left in your tiny little body and you submitted yourself to the great mystery with grace and acceptance.
I think about this parting alot.
And I miss you still in ways that are bordering on the strange and the obsessive.
Such is the power of a beloved animal.
The unrelenting, eternal power of love .

THIS is deadly serious. This latest ruling by the so called Supreme Court is racist, cruel and undemocratic. This sets back sixty years of progress made to protect Black and Brown Americans. This is a shameful OUTRAGE.
We must resist, organize and motivate. We must push and support and protect.
We cannot simply give up on democracy. We have to do better.

In celebration of our announcement yesterday regarding next year’s concerts for @Teenage_Cancer at the @royalalberthall, here is our performance of “Lovesong” by @thecure that we performed last month at the royal command of curator @robertsmith. It was an honor to perform this song as a mark of our respect for him, The Cure and for such an incredible cause. The work that Teenage Cancer Trust do for our young people is truly remarkable.

I am deeply moved to have been called to service by @teenage_cancer as their curator for next year’s week of shows at the glorious @royalalberthall in support of our teens in the UK who are currently battling cancer.
I am astounded to have been asked and somewhat alarmed at the weight of the honour but also grossly excited by the prospect of bringing a crew of artists together to raise as much money as possible for the cause.
Fuck Cancer and the tank it rode in on.
One day we will smash it.
