The 33rd @raindancefilmfestival has wrapped – and what a festival it was! Get Set Hire was proud to sponsor this legendary celebration of independent film for the very first time. From water coolers and makeup mirrors to sofas, lights, and more, our kit was everywhere across the West End, even featured in our 60-second ad shown before every screening.

We’ve put together a full Raindance Festival Rundown on the blog, including our Top 5 unmissable film picks:

From the tense UK thriller @rowthefilm to the raw, American horror @deformelody_movie, the powerful powerful and shocking queer documentary @flamingocampfilm, the opening premiere sucker-punch of @heavyweightthefilm and the subtle connections of #grandmanaiwhoplayedfavorites, the lineup blew us away.

We also got a front-row seat at @netflixuk Day, and the closing gala. Plus, we hosted our very own reception at the @Canon Lounge, a great chance to connect with filmmakers, old and new.

Raindance reminded us that creativity, bold stories, and community matter most. We’re excited to support more shoots powered by indie passion.

Last week we took over an entire Rugby pitch to shoot our new range of kit and a wide range of our existing kit in a variety of set ups.

Our new event marquee was dressed for a wedding, a corporate event and to be a backstage costume area.

Our new Husshpod powered our new mobile kitchen and also featured in a photo showcasing all our green power solutions.

We also put together some package options including our Remote Location Package

We’re excited to be back at MPTS (Media Production & Technology Show), bringing the BAFTA albert Sustainability Zone & Sustainability Series to Olympia London Grand Hall on 13–14 May.

Across the two days, our Sustainability Series will spotlight key industry action and collaboration, with sessions inspired by landmark reports including ACCELERATE 2025 and SPARK: Clean Temporary Power by 2030 – tackling everything from transport emissions to the transition to clean power on set.

We will be joined by industry experts including Stevie Kotey (Transportation Manager, Netflix), Michael Leo (Corporate Black Cabs), Katherine Nash (Head of Studios at The Bottle Yard), Feyi O. (Sustainability Manager, Warner Bros Studio Leavesden) and April Sotomayor (Head of Industry Sustainability, BAFTA albert), with more amazing speakers to be announced.
