On Lacoste "Shot The Lights Out" we sampled regions of the wall with NDI Capture, ran the feed through MadMapper to convert each zone into DMX, and pushed it out through a Chamsys MagicQ PC Wing to 40 Solaris Flare XL36 fixtures rigged in the truss above set. 1,440 RGBW pixels of practical light, following the wall through every phase — sunrise gradient, organic motion, motion-blur empowerment.
No keyed-in highlights in post. No second-guessing the colour cast. What hit the lens is what we built — wall, ceiling, and lamps reading from the same source.
