I'm happy to share that I'm teaching another Intro to Photography workshop! The last workshops went so well and I had an unexpected amount of fun teaching them. I'm very AuDHD and have received feedback that my way of explaining things in workshops feels easy to understand. I also make colorful graphic handouts for you to take home and reference later, since there's a lot of information to process during the workshop!

This is a 3-hour, hands-on class designed to feel low pressure and sensory friendly. This workshop will be helpful whether you've never touched a camera in your life or you've been shooting for a while and just want to understand what all your camera settings mean.

Here's what we'll cover:

• The Exposure Triangle: ISO, shutter speed, and aperture (explained in a way that actually makes sense)

• How to shoot in different camera modes, setting white balance

• Basic lighting principles

You’ll also learn elements of photo composition and how to work with a model.

You'll leave with practical skills, we'll talk through your questions, and I'll give you personal feedback along the way. Bring a camera or just your phone. No experience needed! My main hope is that you’ll feel excited about photography when you leave the workshop.

💍 it’s been 6 months since @serious.sappho & i got married! 🫀& my heart is still soaring. so here are some reception photos! 🥹 this was truly the most beautiful, present, and magical weekend of my life ~ surrounded my chosen family, unconditional love, queeeer joy, and eternal support. we were smiling ear to ear all weekend long. the laughter, deep love, witnessing, and beautiful reminders were such medicine for the Soul. celebrating our reception at @icons_colorado alongside our community and loved ones was the ultimate gift and the only place this could’ve happened at ~ they’ve been my family since the doors opened back in 2020, and since then, only abundance has followed. it’s also where sarah & i officially met (after years of seeing one another in passing/ me being so intrigued by her). it only made sense to celebrate where not only our love found one another, but where our community finds love and euphoria/sanctuary as well. thank you to everyone who attended both our ceremony and our reception 🫀 the memories we created together will live on forever in my heart, and i love you so much. queer love is so sacred. our wedding weekend was unlike any other; centering queer love, showcasing trans and queer love, and refusing to be quiet about who we are and how we love. a room of authenticity and unapologetic presence. monumental. i truly feel so lucky to experience any of this at all. i love you.
