Rangeela resident @deejayaman.ca returns for 6+ hours of non-stop Bollywood beats, with extended bar till 4AM.

#TBT: 15 years ago, we started Rangeela with no clue what we were doing, no inkling what this party would grow to be, or what it would come to mean to so many people.

We knew we wanted a space that felt unapologetically filmi and queer. We wanted to push the envelope for what it meant to be a brown event in queer nightlife. And we wanted to stand for more than just a night out.

Seeing this purpose reflected in @jadooent’s tribute to “The Rangeela Years”, at our final event in 2024, filled our hearts up. 🥹

We’ve held onto this video for 2 years, because sharing a farewell performance makes the goodbyes real. Today, we realize goodbyes are what we make of them.

We have no plans to return to regular events. But we also don’t intend to say goodbye again. As they say in our movies, “Alvida kehne se phir milne ki umeed mar jaati hai— kya pata, phir mile?”

We’re grateful we get to pour our hearts into one more night with you. 💕
