Mission: find a sloth - accomplished! ❤️We flew across half the world to see our soul animal in its natural habitat!
It actually wasn’t that difficult - once you land in Costa Rica, it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll see one - just chilling, hanging from trees, sleeping, or climbing down from a tree once a week to poop 🙈 (that’s basically the only moment sloths really risk their lives, because predators can finally spot them! 😂)
It’s pretty amazing to live in a David Attenborough documentary, even just for a moment! ❤️

Together with The Sloth Institute, we have officially joined forces to create the Sloth Protection Alliance: a collaborative effort dedicated to ending the commercial sloth trade once and for all. Our goals:
* A permanent nationwide ban on the importation of sloths into the United States
* An end to hands-on sloth encounters

* Criminal accountability for those responsible for the suffering and deaths at Sloth World

At Finca Loroco, people of all ages came together to share native trees, roots, cacao, crafts, and ancestral wisdom that continues to live on through generations.
Through our Connected Gardens project, we gave away native trees, shared conversations about conservation, and continued strengthening bonds with the community through nature.
