Slow long weekend moments in the garden 🌿

A new little corner at Sarah’s — complete with beautiful green chairs from HAY paired with a STOOPS Design container planting. We love how this space came together for quiet mornings, coffee breaks, and lingering outdoors a little longer this season.

Another stunning day planting at this breathtaking West Vancouver estate. From the grand front entrance to the tennis courts and expansive pool deck, every planter and garden bed was thoughtfully curated to complement the scale, architecture, and timeless elegance of the property.

Featuring dramatic flax grasses, salvia, echinacea, sculptural senecio, lush sedums, and vibrant seasonal colour with trailing ‘Mango Punch’ petunias and dahlia ‘Mystic Fantasy’ — these container gardens are designed to evolve beautifully into summer and beyond.

The result is a refined outdoor experience that feels elevated, welcoming, and effortlessly luxurious from every angle.

Summer Planting in progress 🌿🌸

There’s something so special about designing for a heritage home — honoring the character and timeless architecture while bringing in a fresh layer of seasonal beauty. For this Kerrisdale planting, we focused on creating a soft, romantic summer palette with layered textures, cascading blooms, and lush greenery that feels both elegant and welcoming.

We always begin with the foundation: selecting planters that complement the home’s scale, charm, and architectural details. Thoughtfully chosen vessels help anchor the design and create a cohesive look that feels collected over time.

From there, the planting brings everything to life. We incorporated a mix of seasonal blooms, trailing textures, and pollinator-friendly plants to create movement, colour, and interest throughout the season — while also welcoming bees, butterflies & hummingbirds into the garden. 🐝🦋🌸

This Rosemary Paloma recipe, from Jenni Kanye’s #PacificNatural is on our menu for Mother’s Day this weekend.We love incorporating herbs in our planters, our meals and in our beverages 😊🌱

Here’s the recipe —
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Rosemary Agave Syrup:
1/2 c. blue agave
1/2 c. water
3 sprigs rosemary
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and allow to simmer at medium heat for 5 min. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Paloma:
2 c. blanco tequila
1 c. freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 c. freshly squeezed limejuice
3/4 c. Rosemary Agave Syrup
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice and rosemary agave syrup in a large pitcher and stir.Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig, lime slice and grapefruit peel. Cheers!
